Hondo’s Hideaway family week

Cute house, but best for party of 4-5 or less. We had six and while we could have made all the kids share beds, the listing mentioned a queen air mattress that we planned on using, but it wasn’t there and honestly there isn’t a lot of space we would have been able to blow it up. We’ve been going to BHI for 15 years and this isn’t a house I’d want to stay in again as a family of this size. Kitchen is small and there is no cabinet space for pantry storage, again, if we had a smaller group, we wouldn’t have needed so much food. Porch was my favorite napping spot! While it’s hard to keep clean, I wish the “decor” on all the tables was either wiped down or just not there because screened in porches get dirty, but it was very relaxing to hear all the birds and insects each morning and afternoon while I was reading. Location is perfect for what we like when we stay. We prefer the inner island and this was super convenient for the markets and such. We walked a ton from here. Overall, good house, great location for a smaller group or a group of six that can share beds.
