Such a cute house. We loved the ambiance of the decor and how close we were to everything. We felt quite comfortable and at home in this house.The host was super friendly and told us a lot about great places to see and where to eat. We had a great trip!

Delightful, comfortable perfect location! The Speakeasy is a great name for this place. Decorated in Victorian style. Lovely backyard space. Gas fireplace in the living area added a nice touch on chilly nights. Great bathrooms and nice kitchen. It is located two blocks from downtown Black Mountain making it perfect to walk everywhere.

We stayed at Speakeasy for two weeks. Great experience. From the outside the home looks demure. However when you step inside it's like going back in time to the roaring twenties. The 1920s ... a decade defined by economic prosperity and elegance. The furnishings in the home are vintage with the kitchen having a "refresh" with modern appliances. The three bedrooms are a nice size with the each bed presenting a lovely quilt. The lamps throughout the house are just perfect for each room. The house has two full jazzy bathrooms with excellent water temperature and pressure.There is also a separate closet for the washer and dryer. The house is situated in Black Mountain NC. If you have never been there you are missing out. By the way the house was super clean and the management team outstanding. The Witts

Only issues we had and there were only a couple. The ice maker was very slow to make ice. Need tvs in all bedrooms. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be nice and dressers to put your clothes in. But we very much enjoyed this place.
