Charming 2 bedroom cabin nestled in the woods just outside of Puerto Natales.
Nestled in a forest of Ăirre Trees (Antarctic Beech), our beautiful custom-built cabin is great for couples and families who love nature. Located 6km outside of the town of Puerto Natales, this idyllic space at the base of Cerro Dorotea is perfect for relaxation and immersion into local flora and fauna.
This cabin was lovingly built, using local and recycled products in much of the decoration. The accent wall in the living room as well as some of the other wood used in the construction was upcycled from an old bridge in Torres del Paine National Park.
This property is off of the grid with the cabin powered by a combination of solar panels, a small wind turbine and a back up generator. The water comes from a well on site, they provide store-bought water for guests. Recycling including composting options are supported.
The cabin is 45m2 with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and bathroom.
Between July and February there is a large group of nesting Ibis' (Bandurrias) that nest in the trees surrounding the cabin. They like to chat to one another as they settle down for the night as well as in the mornings. (They are quite loud so be prepared)
