Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your vacation at L’Alizé. This month we have launched some exciting renovation projects that will make L’Alizé even more of a “home away from home “. Hopefully guests will still pull themselves away from L’Alizé, to enjoy the activities of Roatan, but we strive to make “ just being here ” a greater attraction. In addition to having updated the living room and all of our 5 guest rooms to varying degrees, we anticipate beginning construction on an outdoor kitchen and recreation room this month. (This will house our new ping-pong table and provide an ideal area for grilling). We are proud to announce our new on site Managers Nic and Adrien , who along with their 4 great kids, have made Roatan their home. They will introduce you to the best of Roatan and do all they can to meet your needs during your visit. I would have to agree with you that there is not much we can do to improve on the beauty that surrounds L’Alizé , but we love perfecting the rest.

There is plenty of adventure to enjoy at L’Alizé. It is one of the aspects we love best about the home. We are equally glad you felt pampered for the week. We hope we can spoil you again soon.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of your time at L'Alize. Since your visit we have purchased and installed a large generator that runs the entire house in the event of a power outage. Island living has its charms and challenges. We think this generator will help our guests focus on the charms of Roatan.

I had chosen a high quality stainless set as iI had understood these to be healthier. But I get the ease of non stick and am happy to get these. Thanks again for your insights into your stay.

Sorry you had a hick up on finding towels from previous guests? It takes Mirna about 6 hours to clean the entire home because of its size. It is understandable that occasionally when there is a same day turnover, that she misses picking something up. She does however respond to anything you fine needs attention. All our guests benefit from 2 cleanings a week on us. So as long as you send me or Mirna a text, she will be right on it. The trade winds make our home delightful when it is warm but it does increase wave action. The mornings are the best time, when it is windy. The other aspect of the breezes is that they keep the bugs in check. The white sand beaches of the North side are a short 1 mile drive, so if the breezes are up, there is always West Bay Beach where it is typically placid and has a different beauty. Edier will take you there in a minute.
