Remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath home 2 minute walk to the BNP Paribas Tennis Gardens and the Coachella and Stagecoach shuttles in the heart of Indian Wells. Acres of beautifully landscaped grass area boasts a huge swimming pool, sand volleyball court, concrete paths, and endless lawn. This mid-century modern home has everything you need including well stocked kitchen and beds for 6 in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large patio with 360 degree views of the palm trees, grounds, and surrounding mountains. The attached garage has plenty of room for car, bicycles, and golf clubs. Centrally located 5 minutes from Trader Joes, Albertsons, Ralphs, Stater Brothers, the famous El Paseo restaurants and shopping, and multiple golf courses.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
This house has been in our family since 1959. Nancy and David recently purchased it from our siblings and have remodeled it for short-term rental and our own vacation usage. We love the area for its beautiful winters and sunny summers. We have been coming here our entire lives.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Part of the famous original 5 Indian Wells Units, or Pods, each of these blocks of 18 or more houses were built in 1959 taking up an entire city block. Unit 2 is the nicest with 20 homes and the most lawn and paths. This provides 2 to 3 acres of open space accessible from your house with no fencing or barricades beyond your patio. All of the houses were originally built in the Mid-century Modern Atomic style, and most of them have been remodeled at one level or another.
Fun fact: The original floor plans were all identical, but the rooflines varied. All had a breezeway between the detached Primary bedroom and bathroom and the rest of the house. Most of these breezeways have been enclosed. In our house, this is now the dining room.

Another fun fact: Nancy's great uncle was the developer!
