Peaceful getaway

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful quiet cabin. Gorgeous stream by the outside fireplace was so peaceful. Cabin was so spacious and cozy. Owners were incredibly welcoming and kind. Can’t say enough good about our entire experience and would love to visit again!

Little 'peace' of heaven

My family had a blast staying at Brian and Stephanie's labor of love cabin. As we hoped, it was quaint, private, peaceful, and super authentic. It will be hard to beat this trip for years to come. My kids wrote thank you notes and we are very happy to have the opportunity to visit and enjoy this amazing property and owners that do it all.

Just what the doctor ordered. Clean, orderly and peaceful. I loved the little creek running through the backyard. It made looking out the kitchen window that much more enjoyable while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Brian O'Keefe owns Mooretown Sawmill and Mooretown Timbers and Beams, LLC as well as several rental properties in the local mountain area. Born and raised in Mooretown, Brian had a dream of carving out the land and creating a successful sawmill.

His dream became a reality in 1987. Mooretown Mill is located in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Pa. near the unforgettable Rickett's Glen State Park. Here at Mooretown, we use local timber to produce a quality product. In 2015, we started our timber frame company.

That same product and craftsmanship can be found in this cozy cabin and in all of Brian's rental properties producing a beautiful rustic feel. He takes great pride in the quality of his work and enjoys sharing that with others.

All of our renters will tell you that we will go out of our way to ensure your stay is unforgettable.

In his spare time (if any) he enjoys working on his next project (an event venue at Palace Park), jaunts on his KTM motorcycle, and is an active member in many organizations dealing with educating the youth of PA in the logging industry; his passion and joy.

Enjoy hiking over 22 waterfalls, kayaking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, hunting or just enjoying some ice cream and be minutes away from kicking back in front of the fireplace or out by the firepit.
