Thank you Carol for sending this review to let myself and others know about your stay at the homes. It is so wonderful to know I could accommodate all 18 of your guests in the 2 houses and then know that you were all able to squeeze in time for the pool! I hope you got some down time in the backyard as well. I personally love sitting there and watching out over all the space...just relaxing. I hope the kids enjoyed it too! Next time you are in Omaha...I hope you will return!

Jerry...Heartfelt thanks for your review. I am so happy when folks go out of their way to let others know their thoughts of the home. I also appreciated the fact that you pointed out the lighting. As I design the new home 2 doors down I keep in mind how much I like and hope others do the warmth of good lighting. We also try to add lots of lamps and task lighting as well into our designs. And as always I am happy when I know the kids enjoyed their space too. You were such a nice group I hope you will return on your next trip to Omaha. Congrats again to your son and his new bride!

You were all warm and friendly and we can't tell you how pleased we were with how well you cared for our home. I know you pick a different place each year for your golf event but we certainly hope Omaha gets on the list again and that you will return...Lisa

Thank you for your honest feelings and compliments of the things you appreciated during your stay. As you know I wrote you a thank you note and gave you a five star rating when I reviewed you. It was because you returned things in order and without damages. This is our single most important objective after providing an exceptional home away from home experience. We are thrilled to know the children enjoyed our extensive toy area. The reason we suggest taking pictures of this area is because others who have stayed have told us it was how they helped their children pickup. I only pass that along as I thought it was a wonderful tip. I must say overall we are saddened by your Review and choice of words. Just to be clear we feel there was a misunderstanding of us trying to be kind and considerate and polite. The night you arrived I brought you backup batteries I told you I was going to purchase and bring for safety. Secondly, after a snowfall during your stay I noticed an amazing snowman someone had built. I came to the door and politely asked permission to take a picture of it for the site. I later found it anatomically inappropriate after closer examination of the picture...oops. Being one of the pioneers of VRBO in Omaha with 45 Reviews on this house and nearly 100 total Reviews, almost all 5 star of our homes, I have never had a concern that we will be visiting during our guests stay. Your privacy is sacred and we respect that. With regards to our Agreement, it has been designed to provide you, the guest, a clear understanding of our house rules sent in advance of arrival. All VRBO properties have what I would call "House Rules" in some format or another. We believe we are very accommodating to requests outside of these rules as well, such as your request for one evening of a get together with extra family. I realize you were in town during the winter for a reunion and as such we agreed to help provide a location for this special night. As you know we live in the neighborhood and this home is at an entrance of that neighborhood, the visibility of all of the cars day and night we think might have weighed in on you (but, it goes without saying we did not interrupt your stay about this). In my humble opinion it appears a fear of being watched might not be on us. I am sorry your stay was not completely satisfactory as that is always our top priority. We do hope your future VRBO stays are more relaxing.

Thanks so much for writing this review. I love when guests describe the property as "the pictures don't do it justice". The goal is always to make your trip away from home pleasant and memorable. Hearing back that the adults as well as the kids were entertained and comfortable in their surroundings is what it is all about. Thanks so much and we hope to see you all again!
