Desert Oasis in the City - entire house with private yard

This house is small but has a sweet charm all its own. With 651 square feet of space, it is best appreciated by those of us who do not feel the need for big or fancy lodgings. It is a clean and cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom house with a remodeled kitchen. You'll have the whole house and yard to yourself, so privacy and nature are plentiful here. The large yard is fully fenced and has great desert vegetation including Saguaro and Organ Pipe cactus. Sit beside our little pond on a cool evening and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the desert in our little slice of Tucson!

Nice quaint little house right in the middle of town. Ideal location for cyclists less than two miles from everything: the 60-mile Tucson Loop aka “Huckelberry Loop” (no-cars!) rec path, Mt Lemmon, coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and dozens of great bicycling routes. Quiet place set back from the street. Very generous and kind hosts. House fully stocked with everything you need. Very secure, safe location with a 6’ fence surrounding the property.

I had such a wonderful stay at Bill and Carla’s place! The unit itself was super clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. I especially loved the gated nature oasis and the pond — I spent time sitting outside, enjoying the great Arizona weather this time of year, peaceful views, and watching the local wildlife.While the property was fantastic, the real highlight was the hosts. Bill and Carla were absolutely amazing — incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely caring. They checked in to make sure I had everything I needed and even surprised me with cookies (which was such a thoughtful touch!).I’ve stayed at several vacation rentals before, but I can honestly say I’ve never had better hosts. I truly hope to stay here again in the future.

A nice place to come home to

I lived in Tucson for 5 years and just recently moved away. I was back for a business trip and this house was the perfect spot to come back to after a day at the office. The listing was accurate, everything was as stated. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy. I loved listening to the pond and watching the birds, lizards and rabbits cruise the yard. I would definitely stay here again.

A nice place to come home to.

I lived in Tucson for 5 years and just recently moved away. I came back for work and this was a wonderful place to come home to after being at the office. The listing is very accurate, everything is as stated. All instructions and communication with the hosts was clear and accurate. It was lovely to sit and listen to the pond and watch the birds, lizards and rabbits cruise the yard. I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place for us!

I booked this place for my parents trip to Tucson. This is what they had to say:“This place was perfect for us. It had everything that we needed including a stocked kitchen and stocked bathroom. The communication with the hosts was excellent as was the book of information they leave you in the house. One of my favorite things was sitting out front and taking in the oasis that is the front yard. If we were to visit Tucson again we would definitely stay here.”
