The house features unobstructed ocean views, heating, WiFi, dedicated work space, and a fully stocked kitchen for convenience. This is an upstairs unit with the sole entrance being up a full set of stairs. A unique feature is the bathroom is separated into three private rooms: toilet, shower/tub, and vanity can all be utilized simultaneously with privacy. This rental is perfect for one or two couples or a family with 2 children. Enjoy a gorgeous home base location for your Central Coast experience and the crown jewel of Morro Bay.

Lovely place to stay for central coast exploration

We stayed here to visit the central coast and it was a perfect location. We visited Morro bay, Hearst castle, SLO and Pismo beach, which are all close to this perfect getaway location. The property was lovely, and Shawna made sure our stay was perfect. Lovely sunset views and very handy supermarket and food options close.

Shawna’s place was wonderful. Directions for checking in were clear and easy and parking was available in the driveway. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen had the basics. View from the front was wonderful, with a view of the ocean and the Rock, at least on clear days. We would stay here again.

I had a very good experience staying at this property. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and the view of the ocean was a bonus. It had all the amenities I needed for my short stay. What really stood out, though, was the host’s hospitality. Communication was smooth and friendly, with quick responses to any questions.

Hello there! My name is Shawna and I was blessed to have been raised in Morro Bay and grateful that I continue to call this place home. I am an avid traveler myself, and I love sharing my favorite spot here on the coast. So whether you are here for nature or more social activities, just let me know and I’m happy to provide recommendations!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We call this the “Tree Streets” because all of the streets parallel to the ocean are alphabetical tree names. This is the home I grew up in and my favorite part of this neighborhood is that it is walking distance to the grocery store, the park I have many childhood memories, and the beach! It is a quiet neighborhood (I mean let’s be real, all of Morro Bay is pretty quiet and peaceful) with the most action being dog walkers and kids on their bikes.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

What makes our property unique is that although we have freshened up and made it vacation rental worthy, you can still feel all the love and life that my family shared in those walls. My folks still live in town at their home closer to the Embarcadero but they spent 30 years in this house raising my brother and I and beyond. Also, we have a lemon tree on property that produces like a champion, so please pick and take home some delicious lemons!
