We loved this place! We drove from WA state to stay here for a family member’s Celebration of Life. It was a beautiful, comfortable setting for family & friends to gather and we appreciated all of the amenities and special seating areas. The fishing was great off of the dock and those dock mounted chairs were great. The skeeters were out in force and we thought we were prepared, but bring more. Lol. We also appreciated finding a nice place to have our family dogs stay with us as they do in our own homes. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home on the lake.

August Vacation

Everything went smoothly. A fully stocked kitchen was a wonderful surprise. We had a great time. Wish we could have checked in earlier. That way we would of been able to experience more of Aberdeen.

great lakeside stay

Second time we've rented this property. Always a great place to stay. The owner is very responsive. The property is very clean. This is a great place to stay and relax. Love the views and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The location was great and the house itself was great. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but there was a lot of dust on shelves, fireplace mantels, and particularly the blinds in the bedrooms. A number of boards on the upper desk are warped and could be a tripping hazaard.

Family Gathering

A family group of 25+ members used the property for a two day family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. One family resided at the house while the others were in the local area. We gathered each morning for the day. The house was just what we needed. Ample room for all of us, separate areas, both in and outside, to allow us to visit individually or in groups. The kitchen and dining areas were large enough to accommodate all of us. The setting at the lake contributed to a relaxed atmosphere as well as allowing the younger members to blow off steam. We had a wonderful gathering and the amenities and size of the property made that possible.

The original design for the cabin was found and featured in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. My parents purchased the property and built a large lower level walkout addition to the property. This was my childhood summer home, I have many fond memories of this place water skiing and fishing. I live in the Twin Cities now and I try to make it home as much as i can...I felt that turning the cabin into a VRBO property I could share it with others and still have the ability to use it myself when available.

The lake home is very close to many activities I Love to do fishing, hunting, golfing and seeing old friends...it is close to town but far enough away to be a hideaway very quiet and peaceful...its easy to just enjoy the lake views and daydream an afternoon away. this property is perfect for family reunions and or summer or winter gatherings as well.
