McNeill's is a perfect location for our event. The setting on the river is absolutely beautiful for the Spey fishing event. The presenters stay at the house overnight and truly enjoy the experience. The ground are great.

One of the most serene and quiet locations we've ever stayed at. The Brule River runs right next to the house in a beautiful valley surrounded by pines. The property has a great layout for hanging out with your party while also offering spaces to read quietly on your own. Highly recommend for anyone looking for immersion in nature and quiet solitude.

We brought our sons to experience spring trout fishing. Accommodations were well kept, clean and perfect proximity to our activities!

Cannot write enough about this property and capture all the fabulous features. The location near the river was beyond accurate and incredibly relaxing to listen to on the porch. Desolate and private - PERFECT SETTING. The house was well equipped inside and the outdoor games and firepit were greatly appreciated. The history of settling the homestead was an added bonus. So thankful the family is willing to share this property - I don’t think I would The only neighbor is a “relative” of the homestead and was polite and welcoming but not intrusive. From check in to check out the entire stay was great - only downfall was not being able to stay longer. We struck out on the fishing but we wouldn’t mind coming back to try again.

Greg and Brenda are fabulous hosts. Responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The house and property are beautiful. We are looking forward to staying there next year.

Had a wonderful time at McNeils’s on the Brule. It’s a wonderful location, and a perfect place for hanging out with friends and family. Will definitely be coming back!

Annual Fishing Trip

I’ve always wanted to stay at McNeils and it did not disappoint. From the massive yard, to the cozy cabin. It lies right on some of the best water on the brule, so fishing is made easy. Truly a memorable trip and unforgettable cabin. It was clean and we had all the amenities we could need. Definitely would stay again!
