This place was so fun and so cool! It was huge, so much space, plenty of privacy, and an easy walk to the water! Only slight negative was the amount of gravel to get to it but still definitely recommend!!

Spacious and great for a large group. Host was communicative and responsive to questions and concerns. The kitchen was well stocked and the great room has a beautiful table for full family sit down meals. Easy access to Superior and Duluth, while also being secluded enough for a quiet stay.

We loved our stay here . Every thing was perfect for us . The house was very spacious and clean . The area was quiet and safe . The road getting there was a gravel ,very rough road but that would be the only thing I could say negative . We would definitely come back !

Our family had a FANTASTIC stay. The house was very roomy, clean, plenty of linens, and dishes. The house was nestled in the woods but not too far from grocery stores. We so appreciated the wildlife we saw on a daily basis: deer, beavers, and rabbits. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and quick responses from the hosts.

The house was great. Spacious with ample room to spread out with large space for everyone to come together. The kitchen worked great for cooking family meals and gathering. The beds were very comfortable, couches and seating space was comfortable and abundant. We loved walking down to the public beach for fishing, relaxing , hunting for sea glass, and enjoying the view. Only things that left us yearning for more was the outdoor space. Landscaping around the house could use a refresh, open up the view to the lake from the house, and open up space at the lake for seating. There garage was not used due to a musty smell

Great property with plenty of room for our family of 10. Safe for the small kids and privacy for everyone. Easy space to make meals and just hang out together playing games, etc. Close to a great state park and beautiful views of the lake from the house.

Great for large group!

We stayed here with a youth group for a conference and loved the feel of this house, it had room for sleeping plenty, and the beds were super comfy! Would stay here again for sure!

Wonderful stay!

This beautiful home is the perfect spot for a large family or multiple families. There was so much space for everyone and it had everything we needed. We stayed while attending a conference in Duluth, which was a very easy drive from this property. We’d love to stay again.

Peaceful and great location!

House was very large and had something for everyone. There was 11 of us and 7 were teenagers. Beach was beautiful! Great location if you are looking to explore Madeline Island and Duluth area.

Family Getaway

This was the perfect getaway that our family needed. Thanks to the host and Vrbo for pairing us with the perfect match. Love the place and even the children was able to enjoy the outdoors and away from their electronics.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed here with a group of friends over Memorial Day Weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time. There’s plenty of space - our party of ~10 (plus several dogs) fit comfortably. We enjoyed the lake views, the numerous hangout areas, playing games in the garage (ping pong, foosball), etc. Would definitely stay here again.
