We had such a wonderful stay at this cute cottage! It's tucked away off the beaten path, which made it feel peaceful and special right from the start. The cottage was spotlessly clean and truly cute in the best way - everything felt cozy and well cared for. It had everything we needed for our getaway, from the essentials to the little comforts that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. We loved the privacy and the calm atmosphere, and we'd happily stay there again. We highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was definitely cozy with extra blankets and throws which we’ve seldom found at other rentals. Lots of little details added for a comfortable stay. The owner was easily accessible for any questions we had.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 after going to DC and Busch Gardens we got a little rest here before our Kings Dominion day! Loved having the hot tub and fire pit.

Beautiful cottage! Perfect space for our family of 4 and our dog. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dog to run around and gave us privacy. Easy to get to Kings Dominion to enjoy the park, and then come back for a quiet night either lounging inside or by the fire pit. The host was great and quick to reply to any questions we had. They also let us feed their chickens, which the kids loved.

The property was lovely and welcoming. We had everything we needed - and more. A daily (brief) parade of chickens passing in front of the cottage from nearby was almost as entertaining as the New York - San Antonio basketball game on Friday night!Honestly, it was a delight and the owner was lovely and responsive throughout.

This is paradise in the woods! If I could have given 1000 stars, I would. The host was amazing. Quick response and always upbeat with a smile. She was so sweet. The place was perfect. It is just like you see it online. Clean home feeling. The porch and backyard was wonderful. My dog loved the space. The hot tub was so peaceful and spotless. The lights at night in the yard allowed you to enjoy the backyard. My favorite was the free roam chickens. They walk around and pose for pictures.This is a perfect place to get away from everything and close to Kings Dominion. I will definitely keep this as a favorite stay place.

Charming Extremely Private Cabin

Love this place!!! Very comfy and beautifully decorated. It sits beside the host home w a fenced in back yard. Star, lighting bugs, & quite.

Lovely home off the beaten path, great for unwinding and disconnecting. We really enjoyed being able to let our dogs wander the fenced in yard while we read on the screened in porch or relaxed in the hot tub. Rose provided s'mores and other goodies for us and was very easy to communicate with.

The cute country cottage was perfect for our family’s weekend getaway! Everything was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Host was accessible and very responsive. Easy check-in & check-out. We loved being able to bring our dog! We all enjoyed the fenced-in backyard & screened in porch. While we didn’t use the hot tub (young boys), it was ready to go and a nice addition. My boys enjoyed the toys & games they had too. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

Very Comfortable Stay

This converted barn had all the amenities that we wanted and needed and was within a twenty minute drive to town where we could go to restaurants and to Wally world. It was cold and rainy during our stay so we didn't use the hot tub. Although, our host had it graciously waiting for us.

Quick trip to Kings Dominion and DC

My family and I spent three nights at the Cozy Cottage. This was a quick drive to Kings Dominion and, due to weather, we spent our last day taking a day trip to Washington DC (about a 90 minute drive). The hosts did a great job of making sure that the property was ready for us. Communication was excellent and the hosts were very friendly during our interactions. Late nights in the hot tub and watching movies while playing "Operation" were a perfect way to end our nights. The property was in a quiet area and "off the beaten path", which gave the cottage a great feel! We all would recommend these hosts and property.
