Tillbringa dina dagar avkopplande vid vattnet på uteplatsen eller den rymliga, privata bryggan. Viken plats gör att du kan simma och flyta i fred utan att oroa dig för båtar eller vaknar. Detta rymliga hem har en öppen planlösning på huvudnivån med ett stort, fullt utrustat kök med en dubbelugn och en enorm ö med plats för 6 och ett stort rum med tre stora soffor som omger en eldstad och 65 ”tv. Den översta våningen har 4 sovrum, inklusive 1 master svit med utsikt över sjön. Walkout källaren är en perfekt plats för barnen som ger ett våningssäng rum med en 55 "tv, fullt badrum, våt bar, full storlek kylskåp, spel, fusball och ett underhållning område med 3 stora soffor och en 65" tv. Vi välkomnar dig att ta med din familj och skapa nya semesterminnen som kommer att hålla livet ut!

Quiet family and friends retreat

Quiet Weekend Getaway

Lake vacation

Property was well-equipped with good location for family. House was nice but could use some handyman attention (paint, damage to walls repaired). Place mostly clean but furniture needed to be vacuumed under cushions.cushions.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This was the perfect house for our large family. The owner was great to communicate with and had the house well stocked (dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc) and clean. The beds were so comfortable and the dock was amazing. Our group caught a ton of bass too! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home and we hope to be back again soon!

great vacation

Very nice house . Perfect quiet lake location, private,easy to keep an eye on the kids. Everyone enjoyed fishing(lots of fish) kayaks,canoeing and swimming. Plenty of room on property for outdoor activities. Owner very easy to work with. House set up is very comfortable . Plenty of room for the whole family to spend time together and nice that bedrooms were away from living area for those early to bed people/kids.

Perfect Vacation Spot for family

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager is always quick to respond to inquiries. The location is perfect for us ( we have young children) as it is at the end of a cove, so no/less wakes from boats. It is pretty shallow for a ways out, so the younger ones could play easily.

Amazing Lake House

Robert thought of just about everything for this getaway. The kitchen is ACTUALLY fully stocked, which is usually our biggest complaint. Quiet cove, lots of sleeping space, clean, well furnished. Will rent again.

The best christmas reunion ever!

The house was perfect for our needs and so much more! We chose the house due to it’s location close to King’s Dominion for the Winterfest. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and dared a qucik dip in the freezing cold lake. We roasted marshmallows and made s’mores. House was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed, lots and lots of space!

Memories

My mother turned 79 while we were there she said it could have been her best birthday ever. We had some extended family and the weekend turned out to be wonderful. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. The kids loved the kayaks. A wonderful time at Lake Anna.

Great house especially with little ones

The water is awesome...Love that it is shallow for a large part of the area so the little ones can play in the water. Also, being at the end of the cove makes any wakes pretty much nonexistent. The inside has foosball, ping pong and games which were great, since we had multiple days of rain. Communication was very easy and I had responses to any questions quickly.

Guys fishing trip Lake Anna

This was the second consecutive year we have booked this house for our annual guys fishing trip. This house has everything the five of us need. Plenty of space and very comfortable accommodations. We especially like having a very close boat launch and a nice dock for our boats. The house is very clean and it fits our needs perfectly. We hope to be able to come back for a third year. Dan H

Perfect

The house was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The kayaks and water toys were perfect and our kids spent hours in the water. The end of the cove is excellent for kids to swim and play without the worry of boat traffic. The house has everything you may need to be comfortable and the kitchen is fabulous! It was perfect in everyway for our family vacation. If I could change thing, it would be that the water temp wasn't 94 degrees and above at spots. This has no reflection on the house however, it is a circumstance of the private side of Lake Anna. Hope to come back sometime!

Super well equipped

Just about everything you could ask for in a vacation rental this place had. Gorgeous setting. Lake was perfect for the 4-year-old because it was shallow for yards. Lots of lake stuff: kayaks, canoe, floats, tons of chairs, fire pit, dock, and on and on. House too. Fully outfitted kitchen. Good biking on lightly traveled roads, if that’s your thing; not too hilly.

Wonderful fishing weekend!

Beautiful house in a quiet cove. We are a group of fishing couples that frequently fish Lake Anna and this is the one of best houses we have stayed in. The owner was very responsive to questions and needs including rescheduling our booking due to inclement weather. The house is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and accommodating to our mixed group. Easy access neighborhood ramp and enough parking at the house for trailers;however you do need to back down the driveway due to limited turn radius. We are definitely returning to this house!

Perfect family weekend

My fiancé and I joined my daughters and their husbands, my grandchildren (ages 5 and 8) and my mother (88) for a birthday/Mother’s Day weekend in May. The fishing was excellent and the kayaks were such a treat! The lake was very quiet and we had the protected cove virtually to ourselves. Easy access to the water was especially appreciated. We also loved the ping pong table! The kitchen was massive and the house easily accommodated our group of 9. We rented a pontoon for a day from Mobile Water Sports; they delivered and picked up the boat and were great to work with. The host was very easy to contact as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect lake home

We had a fantastic experience on the warm side of Lake Anna in this spacious and well appointed home. Lots of bedrooms (bunk room has 6! Queen sized beds) and bathrooms (4) to help us be comfortable with two living rooms- downstairs for the kids with ping pong, fooseball and a great tv for movie watching, upstairs has a gas fireplace and TV for the grown ups. Plenty of kitchen space and absolutely everything you could want for dishware and cooking- including a crockpot! Easy to find and lots of lake toys and land toys to boot! Enjoyed the fire pit at night- bring your own firewood. Thanks for a great stay with excellent WiFi, peace and fun!

Family fun at Lake Anna!

We had a positive experience all the way around! The Madison’s lake house is exactly as advertised, and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away. As other reviews indicated, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and the house is spacious. We were there for Halloween, so we carved pumpkins and made good use of the fire pit. Everyone loved the kayaks, and we even took a polar plunge into the lake in November! We had rain one day, and we had a great time playing ping pong and foosball in the basement. This house has literally everything you need for a relaxing weekend with a large family. This is a beautiful home where we made many special memories! Thank you, Madison family!

Annual Family Vacation

This was our 2nd visit to Lake Anna, but 1st visit to this property. There were a few issues with the septic system but the owner was easy to reach and prompt with having service companies handle the issue, so it did not negatively impact our vacation. There is minimal cell service at this property, but we had no issues with the internet wifi at the house or dock. The house is probably the cleanest we've stayed in and definitely the best stocked for a big family. The owner is also the most organized I've dealt with through vrbo or other owner rental sites. Great outdoor space with plenty of shallow water for our younger kids and deeper water off the dock for jumping into. We loved the kayaks, especially the junior kayaks! There is a road adjacent to the side of the house that overlooks the end of the cove and dock, but it's not a busy road and the far side of the dock still felt private. The owner listed nearby activities but we preferred to stay at the lake fishing, swimming, and kayaking. With 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, there was plenty of space for our 3 families. The extra fridge and ice maker were the iciing on the cake since we prepped all of our meals at the house. We've already booked for a week next year!

Would return to Bumpass!

House is very nice. The house instructions were thorough and clear. The host was responsive when we had a question. Probably one of the nicest places we've stayed so far (yearly get together). We really enjoyed staying there. It was great that there kayaks and canoes and life jackets for us to use. The washing machine and dryer with ample laundry tabs since was a bonus as one of us got wet after kayaking. It was nice not to take wet clothes home! The dishwasher cleaned really well. We liked the layout of the living room. We had lots of space for playing games, crafting, eating, and lounging. We liked the big table and the gas fireplace. The fire pit down by the lake was terrific. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking and tableware, including kid dishes. No spices or cooking oil, bring everything you might need as well as TP. The beds were very soft, too soft for our group. Very thin and did not provide support. The house is next to a road and you can see the road from the backyard. In the fall there were very few cars on the road, might be a different story in summer.
