Perched above a pristine mountain creek on 6 private acres, The Kiss Cabin isn't just another rental property—it's a labor of love we've dreamed of sharing with couples since we first fell in love with these mountains (and each other) nearly two decades ago.

Inspired by Gustav Klimt's masterpiece "The Kiss," this intimate treehouse-style haven was designed and built by us, your hosts, with our own hands—every nail, every board, every thoughtful detail specifically crafted to create magical romantic getaways. This isn't a converted home; it was conceived from day one as a lover's retreat where couples can reconnect amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.


You'll have completely private access to:

• A stunning cascading creek right below your deck
• Private swimming holes for warm weather dips
• 6 acres of mountain woodland to explore
• A 15-minute creekside walk to the historic New River

**Important Access Information (February-March 2025)**

We want to be completely transparent: as a brand new property, we're still finishing some access improvements:

• The staircase from the parking area to the cabin is under construction (completion expected Spring 2025)
• Our driveway is currently suitable for 4-wheel drive vehicles ONLY
• For all other vehicles, please use the designated parking area at the top
• Guests must carefully walk down to reach the cabin (appropriate footwear recommended)
Driveway paving scheduled for mid-March 2025 (weather permitting)

**Soft Launch Pricing**

As part of our soft opening, we're offering special introductory rates now through April while we continue to refine and perfect the full Kiss Cabin experience. Current rates (around $300/night) represent a significant discount from our expected peak season/weekend rates (approximately $550/night once fully established). While you may notice a few details still coming together, you'll enjoy the same magical setting and core amenities at a fraction of the future cost.

We understand that life happens, but as a small business, we maintain a strict cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover expenses from last-minute cancellations.
