Dear Jan, I am posting the email I sent in response to your comments to me about the sofa beds as I never heard from you again afterwards. I am not sure that you saw it, so I am trying to reach out to you in a slightly different way. In any case, the air conditioner was brought to our attention and has been repaired. Dear Jan, I am sorry for taking so long to reply as I did get the message within 10 minutes of when you sent it. I have been going back through messages from people who have stayed over the past 2 years, focusing on stays of 8 - 10 people, to look for complaints regarding the sofa beds. The last people to mention them used them for children which, of course, doesn't let us know if they are comfortable. Kids rarely complain about beds. Other than that, I can only find mention of them as inquisitions but not after their use. I am terribly sorry for the discomfort, but you really are the first person to complain. I remember when our office manager bought and brought up the mattress pad. He said it was a just in case and we looked into any complaints at that point as well. The only reference then was that the couch had worked perfectly for the renter's mother. As the time, about 4 years ago, the downstairs bedroom had not been added on and she couldn't go up the stairs. I really do try to address issues as soon as they arise, but I am the disadvantage of not being able to fix what I do not know about. I do rely on renters to let me know. There is a fold out bed on wheels, either in the garage or in the closet by the stairs between the den and front door. Sadly, I do not think it is big enough to accommodate 2 adults, but I believe one can sleep on it. I have credited *** back to your account. Again, I am terribly sorry for the discomfort. As quickly as I would like to resolve the issue, I know that it is not realistic to think that I will have anything accomplished before you leave. Sincerely, Candice deSaint-Antione
