The property was great for families or large groups traveling together for the trail. Lots of space to hang out indoors and outdoors. Just is fantastic! Great communication. Quick and easy drive to bardstown and surrounding areas.

Excellent communication. The location and view are great. We did a couple barrel picks for our local store and the next trip to Kentucky we won’t have to search for a place. We know where we want to stay.

Great house and property. Is close to the highway road so you do hear the boys and their toys (large trucks). A little more attention to the cleanliness of the barn area should be done.

Oh I’m so sorry you experienced this! We do have sound machines in the bedrooms and made sure to represent this in the listing description in writing and pictures, but will reinforce that a bit more. It is not super loud, but if you are a light sleeper and do not use the sound machines, I understand your discomfort. Please private message me the details on the cleanliness of the barn. This is the first we have heard of this and take 4-star reviews very seriously, as we strive for 5 stars for each and every guest. We will make sure to take care of it right away! The manager of the VRBO was incredibly helpful, not just with their accommodation, but also in helping us successfully be able to tour the bourbon area. We had our tour company cancelled on us last minute and our VRBO contact was able to find us a new company. Incredible place to hang out and chill. phenomenal!

We arrived at the distiller's dream on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. All communications with Melissa had been so easy and prompt. The property was just what we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar(n) and we successfully prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in a kitchen that was new to us. The design of the home is sophisticated and relaxed. The amenities push this property over the top. We gladly stay again!

Excellent experience. Great, quiet location, away from the city. We had a group of 10 to tour the bourbon trail. The house is very nicely equipped with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. We cooked most breakfast and dinners. Michelle was easy to contact. I would definitely use the house again.

Distiller's Dream is a dream

Our family of 8 adults and two young grandchildren absolutely loved this property! The home is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is both stunning and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more.The barn was a fantastic bonus: a fun and safe place for our grandsons to burn off energy before bedtime, and a perfect spot for the adults to unwind and enjoy games together.From the moment we booked until checkout, Melissa was incredibly responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had a fabulous time at Distiller's Dream! Melissa was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to questions and to provide suggestions. The house and bar(n) are exactly as described, and the location is perfect! We loved sitting under the fans on the back porch, catching up and reminiscing. There was plenty of room for our group of nine, with ample areas to spread out. Wonderful property!
