Detta är ett ett sovrum ett badrum enhet möblerad med king size-säng i privat sovrum och queen size sovvagn soffa i vardagsrummet rymmer upp till fyra personer. Vardagsrummet är utrustat med en 40 "plattskärms-TV med HD-programmering. Köket är utrustat med 4-brännare gas, kylskåp och mikrovågsugn bland andra små köksmaskiner. strax utanför din enhet finns ett litet däck möblerat med två stolar att sitta ut och eventuellt njuta av en kaffe på en kall morgon innan du slår på stränderna.

Komplexet erbjuder en swimmingpool som är utmärkt för avkylning i sommarens värme men också uppvärmd under vintermånaderna för året runt njutning. Det finns flera grillar i grillplatsen på fastigheten strax utanför Herron Lagoon. Massor av solstolar och sittplatser runt poolen och stort däckområde för solbadning vid sjön.

Fastigheten ligger strax under 10 minuter från följande. Under 1 mil till närmaste strand som är Turtle Beach, 1,5 mil till närmaste restauranger och butiker, 3 miles till Siesta Key största offentliga strand och 4 miles till Siesta Key Village. Ön erbjuder många möjligheter till gratis åktjänster (endast tips) för att ta dig runt ön.

Great location

Great location, great property. We would definitely stay there again! The only thing is there was no coffee just cream they provided and no shampoo just one small bar of soap.

Siesta Key

Pictures of location were not accurate. Should have straight on picture of place with door view. Has no good view. Main window faces parking lot and few trees, outdoor patio set by door. Can’t look out kitchen window to back. Nothing to see there. Whole building we stayed in was rectangle shape which looked like a hotel design. The property had 2 units facing bay. 2 units faced swimming pool which was not kept clean from leaves. Actual place was ok but had probably half the amount of supplies used to seeing from other vacation stays we have been in. 1 bar of soap for bathroom. 1 roll of TP. 1 roll of paper towels. Shower head is way to high up in shower. It was nice to have a couple beach towels. Beach was probably 20 minute walk away.

Nice clean place but...

Providing only 1 roll of toilet paper, no tissue and 1 trash bag for the week is just being cheap. Otherwise, it's a really nice place to stay.

Terrible - Do not stay here

First of all the online pictures are not accurate- Unit 3 looked nothing like this. Room was musty. Humidifier was loud and blew hot air. Air conditiuoner (in ceiling) tough to use and basically ineffective. Pool was filthy. T-Mobile phone service said OUT OF AREA and did not connect. Management was very unresponsive and generally rude. Coffee maker was leaking.

Our Siesta Key Getaway

Awesome stay. Perfect location to get around the island. Bike, scooters, tram, etc. Everything is in close proximity. We used the free tram (tips welcome) to get to both beaches( turtle/siesta ) with no trouble. Paddle boarding for $25 for 2 hours. You can take the boards to the secluded beach only reachable by water. We didn’t go on Siesta Beach because it was super packed during the July 4th week but Turtle beach is definitely where you wanna be. Never over crowded. You can actually see the bottom and if you bring googles you will find all kinds of shells on the beach. Top thing for us would have to be the jet skis. We really enjoyed them. Overall the area is perfect for a relaxed getaway. It’s family friendly but unless you plan on keeping your kids on the beach, there wasn’t much for the kids to do. This is perfect for two adults looking to getaway without the tourist rush.

We had a great time!

The only real issue we had was the communication site wasn't automatically updating, so I had to call property management and took a few tries to get our check in code. Other than that it was a cute place for my husband and I! The pool was nice and the deck over looking the lake was beautiful also.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a nice, quiet location. Convenient to both Turtle Beach and Siesta Beach. Our family stayed in Siesta Heron 3, it was perfect for our family of 4. The cottage is clean and nicely updated. We never spoke to anyone, all the information needed is in the app which is convenient. The AC didn't seem to keep the bedroom as cool as we'd like but the living room area was nice and cool. Overall a nice stay!

First time in Siesta Key

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed Siesta Key. The cottage was as advertised. Amenities were nice, canoe, paddleboards, bikes were a plus. Free trolley was nice to go to Village. Negative was air conditioning in unit was not great, too stuffy in bedroom. Needed more towels and towel racks in bathroom. Was nice nice to have free laundry, but thought it was right in the unit. Overall, very nice, clean space.

Reviewer Comments: The apartment has been recently renovated and updated with new kitchen/appliances which was very handy for us, as we traveled with a picky eater toddler and had to make a lot of meals at home. Convenient location. Away from a busier part of Siesta Key but still close enough (by car, bike or free trolley) to everything. Loved free new laundry and complimentary bikes, kayaks and beach chairs/umbrellas. The host was very responsive and laid back and accommodated our request for a late checkout. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is clean and updated, with most basic needs. Only coffee maker is Keurig, renters should be made aware of that. The shower could use a grab bar. Main complaint is noise from air conditioner, humidifier, fans--but at least it stayed cool. Nice location, quiet and removed from Siesta Village area, but you can be there in five minutes.

Nice stay

It would have been helpful to add more towels and washrags in the bathroom. The only the problem was the AC was very poor and we had trouble keeping cool especially in the bedroom @ night. There was a musty smell @ times. We appreciated that John was helpful when we had TV and internet issues when we first arrived.

The place is away from the noise and all the condos, but was a short Trolley ride, which was free, to everything. We really enjoyed staying there.

Quiet end of Siesta Key

Small-ish, would not recommend for more than 2 people. Newly renovated. Well-equipped kitchen with Ninja blender and new gas range. Nice deck on lagoon. Priced right for size and location.

Our best family vacation ever!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Flip Flop Cottages and it's by far the best family vacation we have ever taken. Our daughters and nieces had the time of their lives with the canal in The Kayaks that the kids can't stop talking about it. They all can't wait till next summer to do it all over again. We absolutely just love the cottages and all the fun we have there every time we go stay there for our annual family vacation.
