For clarity, the thermostats located upstairs are fully accessible and controlled by our guests throughout their stay. The main-level thermostat, however, is owner-controlled. This is necessary due to the frequency of exterior doors being opened and closed, which can significantly impact system performance and overall efficiency. As stated, I’m happy to change it on my end to ensure the comfort our guest is key. During your stay, the pool heater system was completely available for guest adjustment. However, in the final two days, we observed sustained and excessive increases in temperature settings that placed strain on the system. To protect the equipment from potential damage and ensure safe operation, the settings were temporarily limited. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable environment while also maintaining the integrity of the home’s systems for all guests. We appreciate your understanding and are always happy to communicate in real time during a stay if any adjustments are needed to improve comfort. Thank you again for staying with us.
