Utomhus njuta av en trevlig storlek gård om du gillar att spela gårdsspel. Över 100 'av sandstranden. Utomhus middagar med extra sittplatser på däck höger ut din sovrumsdörr och en trevlig utsikt plattform område att umgås. Gasgrill. Docka.

Denna östra sidan av stadens läge ger dig enkel åtkomst till så många aktiviteter i detta område. Gå precis österut för hästvisningarna på bukten och Turtle Creek Casino. (gratis transfer från din plats också till kasino). Båda är mindre än 15 minuter bort. Traverse City Film Festival, Cherry Festival, Brew and Wine Fests och så mycket mer på västra sidan av staden. Pirates Cove Fun Park ligger precis nerför gatan, liksom State Park. Du kan också shoppa och äta hela dagen. Reser upp den gamla missionhalvön för vinprovning och spektakulära landskap. What a view!

We're part of a group of several families that spends a weekend in Traverse City every January. We've never stayed at the same place twice (though that may change in 2025 after our experience here). The main things we look for when we book a VRBO are cleanliness, convenient location, a kitchen where we can prepare big meals for a lot of people, lots of room to sleep and spread out, and a few "extras" that make the stay special. This place checked all the boxes, with the "extra" being the spectacular view of the bay right outside the back windows. The kitchen was also the best-stocked kitchen we've had in a while. I had to problem finding the dishes and tools I needed to cook a big breakfast for nine people every morning. The only two knocks we have on the property is that the back bedroom (the one that has the best view of the lake) also does not have heat. The property manager was kind enough to bring an extra space heater for the room. Also, we could not turn on the gas fireplace (even though the welcome manual said we could and told us how). When the property manager was kind to bring the extra space heater (on a Saturday), he or she could not figure out how to light the fireplace, so we missed out on that little "extra" we were looking forward to enjoying.

Great stay with amazing view

We had 3 nights stay and it was well worth it. The property is by the lake and kids had a lot of fun! I would suggest to provide water activities like Kayak or paddle board and it will be perfect vacation for the whole family.

Beach House

Reviewer Comments: I have rented this property several times over the past five years. I rented it the first year that it was available and it needed ALOT of work, we gave it a chance the next year and there was some improvement. We rented a different property last year and came back to this one this year. It has remained the same with no improvements. I realize this is a beach cottage type rental. It is on the water there will be spiders, bugs, sand is to be expected. The main issue is the property itself. There has been a dock that has been dismantled on top of a sand hill for the past 4 years, that completely blacks, the view of the bay when sitting by the fire. Overgrown trees, cobwebs, if there was just a minimal amount of upkeep, and a small investment back into the landscaping, basically a day of cleaning and this property would look much more appealing. (My family pitched in when we checked in and cleaned up the beach and some of the old dead bushes, which is not something we should do on vacation paying a substantial amount of money to stay there.) The pull out beds are extremely old and the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable. No one could sleep there so that was two beds that we could not utilize. The sunroom gets very warm because of the skylight so didn’t use that bedroom the way we had planned.

Great View, no internet/TV (weren't working and no on helped us)

Reviewer Comments: We found that the internet and tv were not working when we first arrived and we contacted the company. One lady was very nice/professional and said she was going to help get to the bottom of it, but never followed up any more the rest of the weekend, so we did not have TV or internet access at all the entire time. Since we spent most of our time outdoors/exploring it wasn't the end of the world, but we feel like we paid for services we didn't have and that was pretty frustrating at times when relaxing around the house. Additionally we had people who needed to finish up work items that struggled to connect to internet, which made the first day/night stressful

Great spot for a girls weekend getaway

The house worked perfect for a quick trip to traverse city. Lots of bedroom and space to stretch out. The only feedback would be more chairs or another sofa for relaxing.

Could have been nice but . . .

The property location is nice -right off of main road and view of and access to the water. But the house could use a deep cleaning, including organizing and cleaning the kitchen drawers and cabinets. The all weather carpet on the front porch needs to be replaced as well. The property was not worth the price, especially after having to pay booking fees to both VRBO and Up North rentals.

Reviewer Comments: an inhabitable rental property that has mastered the art of deceiving visitors out of thousands of dollars. not well cared for in the least - didnt look like anyone had been there in months. trash and dirty laundry littered the overgrown yard. the bugs inside the house outnumbered the women 100:1, and that’s not including the ones you had to battle to get inside. when concerns were brought, minimal effort was put in to improving the stay. after the stay, when the concerns were brought again, no one cared to even respond. the type of house you get lice or bed bugs in.

Mixed Feelings

The view is beautiful. The beds are comfortable. I don't think that the windows have been washed in over a year. The house sleeps 11 but there are only six places to sit in the living room. We found at least 7 spiders/bugs in the house. The shower in the bathroom in the laundry room is tiny and outdated. I called a week before we arrived and asked that they make sure that the grates on the grill were clean. Not only were they dirty but the grill was laden with spider webs. I called the day we arrived, Friday to report the dirty grill grates. The following Wednesday, since no one called me back I called them. I received an apology and was told that someone would be sent to clean it. I said not to bother as we cleaned it before and after we used it. We paid A LOT of money for this rental. I've stayed in less expensive rentals that were nicer and had no problems with the management company.

Perfect in multiple ways

Loved the location; being so close to anything in TC and right on the water?! Awesome. Price was also really good too. Not too many 'comfy' spots to sit with a larger group in the living room but we made due. the house itself was adorable and the rest of the group loved it as well (8 slept over, 11 were there to hang out).

Great place to stay!

The house was in a great location for everything we wanted to do for the weekend and had plenty of room for all of our guests! The view is amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was 8 of us who comfortably stayed here for a 40th birthday celebration. It was very clean, large, and an amazing view. The location is great! The only complaints is that one of the beds was a little too firm, and the large bedroom was cold but it worked perfectly for us! The house had everything we needed including coffee. The owners called the day before just to be sure we didn't have any questions. Everything was super easy to navigate throughout the whole process. I would for sure come back to this house!
