Amazing View

Absolutely amazing views from Decks. Loved the hot tub. Only has true dvd players and no smart tv's. Fully stocked kitchen. Definitely need a vehicle that can handle steep hills to get up driveway. Cant wait to go back.

Short but very sweet stay!

We LOVED this place. After staying in hotels for several nights, my kids simply enjoyed having an entire house to play around in! The space was nicely decorated, clean, had everything we needed, and the view was beautiful. Highly recommend, especially for families.

Nice and very clean

Very nice and clean. A small vehicle and 4 wheel drive is very necessary during winter. I'm glad we had it.

road to cabin is all asphalt and uphill. no need for 4×4 in the spring. cabin is beautiful, perfect. big covered decks with lots of seating. AND the views are spectacular. You can see all of Wears Valley.

Awesome views! It was great to see all the fireworks all around is! Side note there was a broken chair at the pool and it needed a good cleaning. Other then that we enjoyed this cabin and the location very much. Thank you!

Wonderful Views

Our stay at Above Awe was great! The drive up the steep narrow pavement road can be a bit much but the views are worth it. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our week long visit. The only big drawback we encountered was having to listen to the booming music and inappropriate talking of the renters in the cabin next to us for several nights, no fault to the cabin itself but this is something that can happen in this neighborhood with cabins being so close. We recommend this cabin to anyone looking for breathtaking views and a clean worry free place to stay.

Winston March 2022 Stay

Over the years we have visited the area three or four times. This was our first without kids. We loved this cabin. So well built, maintained, and decorated. It was perfect for us and is easily one of the best cabins we have stayed at. Wonderful views. Looking forward to staying again. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful cabin. Love the app as well and responsive management team. First time up the hill was challenging, but we adjusted once we knew what to expect.

The property was very clean and well stocked. The only problem was that we were so looking forward to chilling out in the hottub and it was broken. It made an awful noise every 2 to 3 minutes. All the time! Day and night. It made relaxing a bit difficult as it was very loud. We contacted the rental office and they advised us that they would be contacting someone to comeout. Noone ever came out. The view was amazing!! The drive up to the cabin was a bit scary..lol But 4 out 5 stars..minus one for the noisy broken hot tub.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is possibly the most well-stocked rental unit that I have ever been in. The cabin had anything you could need in the kitchen, and everything was super clean. The decor is exactly what you would hope for. Lots of bears! The view from the porch was breathtaking. The ride up to the cabin was a little nerve racking, (Lots of blind curves with switchbacks) and I would be extremely nervous to drive up in ice or snow. I can only imagine what that view looks like though! We were not able to spend much time on the porch because it was very windy when we were up there, so we didn't get to enjoy much time in the hot tub. Thank you so much for renting this unit! We've been staying with Cove Mountain for over 15 years, and we have never had a bad experience. Cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Above Awe was everything as described. It was "beary" well decorated for a beautiful cabin in the woods. It was nestled away from all the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The entire cabin was extremely clean and accommodated all of our needs throughout the week. Two areas we thought should be addressed is the "Master Bedroom" was NOT on the main floor; my wife, for medical reasons, is unable to climb stairs to the loft area. The main floor bedroom's mattress is extremely uncomfortable and should be replaced. It is uncomfortable because there are swales on either side that are conventional signals of a worn out mattress. Until we flipped the mattress, I had to sleep on the couch; my wife slept on the bed. Prior reviews from February and November 2020 noted the worn out mattress. We were hoping that by now this would have been addressed. Due to COVID-19 and variant, we chose to prepare and eat our meals in the cabin so we were unable to sample local restaurants. We toured the Smoky Mountain National Park, visiting Clingmans Dome, Cades Cove, and some of the visitor centers. We hiked trails near Elkmont Campground. The mornings and evening views from the cabin's deck were extraordinary! We were impressed by Cove Mountain Realty's quick responses to all of our messages. Responses were within the hour or the same day. On the day of our arrival, we appreciated receiving a welcome call from Jeanine asking if we had any questions. We look forward to returning in the future with our children and their families. So gorgeous! We commend Cove Mountain Realty for their smooth and professional handling of our cabin rental from start to finish.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was well worth it, we had an amazing time relaxing in the hot tub looking at the views. I have very few inconveniences about our stay. Firstly I think the chlorine level in the hot tub was a little higher than needed. Secondly is the main TV in the living room area was zoomed in and I tried adjusting it back to normal but there wasn't a setting for that. Thirdly very minor but the night lights all had blown bulbs, I notified the agency when we left. Other than that the stay was wonderful!
