We had a great time. Pam was a terrific host. The Cottage was immaculate, perfect, in terms of size (for two adults),and absolutely spotless. She thought of everything, chargers for the phones, nice little welcome snacks. Absolutely a gem of a place to stay. Close to the beach and restaurants.

Perfect Getaway!

I felt like I was home when I entered the casita! A well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, plenty of table space and outlets for electronics. Reliable wi-fi. Beautifully decorated. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoors is inviting with multiple spaces to relax with privacy. A quiet, walkable neighborhood and a short drive to all activities and amenities. Walk to coffee shops, the lagoon, or the ocean. A short drive to hiking trails, parks, and many quaint California towns. I've used VRBO for many rentals and this is a superior property. The owner is accessible, friendly and wants to make a stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this rental and will stay again when possible. Barb R

We couldn’t of a asked for a nicer place to stay. Pam went above and beyond as our host. Such a comfortable and enjoyable casita and private but with a large backyard and everything possible for a fun evening! Thank you Pam!!

Nothing Not To Like

Here is my very personal checklist of likes: Convenience: Very close to freeway entrance/exit, making it accessible to virtually any city in the region. Noise: In spite of freeway proximity, home is amazingly quiet! Ours not to reason why. It just is
.. Kitchen: Fully equipped for all cooking needs, even though we didn’t cook. Well stocked with coffee, tea, etc. Bed: Definitely comfortable and we’re picky! Exercise: Area is very conducive to walking. One doesn’t have to climb up and down steep hills, whether it’s to the ocean, shopping area and restaurants, or simply strolling around the neighborhood.. TV: Easy to understand. For a change, we didn’t have to fight and struggle to find the channels we wanted. Water purifier: We didn’t have to run out and buy bottled water because she has a built in system. This was one of our favorite rentals, and we have done many over the past 20 plus years. Cottage was beautifully appointed with a light and airy feel, yet private as it’s tucked away behind the host’s house. Garden and patio area is lovely, and Pam bends over backwards to keep her guests happy. We definitely plan to return!

Beautiful casita in Oceanside

My husband and I had stayed at Pam’s place a couple of years ago, we were so happy when we found out it was available. Pam’s place is so convenient, walking to beach, restaurants, shops. If you don’t want to walk she has two bikes to use., and of course all the beach stuff you may need, chairs, umbrella, etc. The casita is cozy, well decorated, everything we needed was there. The private backyard was perfect for morning coffee, a nap in the afternoon and a glass of wine in the evening, beautiful plants and trees all around. We had a nice evening around the fire pit with Pam and her husband Thanks Pam ❀ Hope to be back soon

Perfect romantic getaway

Words can't express how enchanted we were when we entered this adorable guest house.

It has everything we were looking for during our short stay in the area. Cozy, cute, but most of all comfortable, we definitely felt at home. And, while shuffleboard isn't something we've done much of, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the court. Thank you for your hospitality. We were delighted to stay and hope to return again soon.

Perfect jumping off point

This was an unexpected pleasure. You really can't tell by the listing but this place is small, elegant and perfect for a single woman to get some rest and sneak away to see her family. My grandson, when visiting, loved all the wonderful toys that are there and was very entertained with everything there. Thank you for a wonderful, much needed relaxing stay.

Quality Property in a Great Location

We had a great experience and Pam, our host was terrific! The house and grounds are lovely and well maintained. The location provides easy access to the surrounding areas and it's a nice walk down to the beach. I was visiting family for Thanksgiving and this was the perfect spot to relax. I will definitely stay here every time I visit the area. Thanks Pam for providing such a special place to stay!!

Great vacation wonderful cottage

We exited I-5 and literally turned onto the first street adjacent to the Interstate. We arrived later than expected and it was dark. The street is not well lit and we had a bit of trouble finding the house. Once we did, it was smooth sailing. The cottage was well laid out, newly remodeled, clean and charming. We were concerned that the highway noise was going to be over the top but we were pleasantly surprised (relieved actually) that we did not hear it at all. We sat outside for coffee every morning and it was very peaceful. One evening we lit the flame in the outside fire pit, nice. The cottage was just minutes, by car, away from Oceanside pier and beach and around 25 minutes to Encinitas. We would definitely stay with Pam and Frank again. Gay and Ken Simeral, Prescott, AZ

A great place to relax

We stayed 7 nights in late August at this wonderful little oasis. The area was close to very nice beaches, shopping, transit and pretty much everything we were hoping to be around during our stay. The cottage was very well equipped for a comfortable stay, most everything was quite new and in pristine condition. The appliances, T.V. and furniture were much better quality than we are used to in a vrbo rental unit. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and close to the San Diego freeway which made for convenient access to all communities in the area. Overall we found that our expectations were exceded and would highly recommend staying here for anyone coming to Oceanside, California.
