Close to everything! Great place - so open, clean and spacious inside & out. The grounds, pool, jacuzzi meticulously maintained.James has been an awesome hardworking host!2nd time I stayed here and would come back again and again!

This was a fantastic stay in Palm Springs. The apartment was perfect. James was incredibly accommodating and we were close enough to downtown to get there by car in just 5-10 minutes or walk in 30 minutes or so, which we did several times. The apartment has a private entrance from a beautiful backyard with a pool and the bedrooms were cool and comfortable, each with their own private bathroom. Will definitely stay with James again when we return.

We loved the space, had a great day. Location was great and short drives to cool restaurants and bars. The outdoor area was lovely and the host was super accommodating when we wanted to enjoy the hot tub. Will definitely stay again when we come back.

My friends and I booked the place to celebrate my birthday; it was such a great weekend! We had never booked with VRBO on our own before and the process was super smooth. The place was the perfect size for 3 people, the pool was clean and easily accessible, and the location was great for access to the downtown strip! Pro tip: make sure to turn on your message notifs for host communication...rookie mistake! Thanks for having us :)

Our rooms were nice and spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was heated up for us whenever we requested it. James was very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. One comment/critique is about the ceramic tile, which is lovely but hard. It would be nice to have a small rug or woven mat on the side of the bed or next to the shower as you get out. Overall, my son and I had a wonderful stay!

I will lead with this as an indicator on whether you should book with this host. While the property, location, and overall accommodations were very good, there was NO disclosure up front nor in the initial check-in details that there is an extra daily charge to lower the thermostat below 72 degrees in a desert rental property. The host sent this policy to us AFTER we attempted to lower the thermostat on the first day, a policy which I have never encountered in many years of booking short-term rentals. We were also sent a charge for dirtying bath towels with makeup. There is something suss about this property. The listing also doesn't suggest that the unit is attached to his main house and he is there regularly roaming around. There are a few other units he rents out (another guest suite, a converted garage and even an RV) so it feels like a compound. I will not discredit the good location and the spacious bedrooms but we would never have booked here if we knew there was going to be regulated air conditioning and him monitoring our usage over our stay. It felt like a tactic for him to squeeze more money out of us after we had already checked in. For that reason alone, I would not recommend staying at this property if you have other options.

This guy is a total jerk, has zero, none, no reviews on vrbo. Claims he has tons of reviews. I have thousands of 5 star reviews and 7 years hosting on the other site. I am new to vrbo and not at all happy that they can allow a guest with 0 reviews to look at my calendar. The other site if you have 0 reviews you can not stay with us. This is why. He ruined my towels by wiping red liquid up with our towels, used others for wiping makeup off totally garbage now, won't pay for them. Was verbally told then in writing not to lower the AC below 72° or pay a fee. Has the nerve to lower it multiple times and complains when he is sent a bill.
