Charming East Quogue House with Pool and Tennis
Charming contemporary house on 2 tastefully landscaped acres with tennis court and 20 x 40 ft heated swimming pool in prestigious neighborhood at East Quogue- Quogue border. The house has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, distributed over 2 levels and a basement. All rooms, kitchen and bathrooms have been fully renovated. The first level has a master bedroom with kingsize bed in suite with a bathroom, a junior bedroom in suite with a bathroom and two bedrooms sharing a third bathroom. The kitchen has two dishwashers, a wine cooler, refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee and expresso machine. The first level has also a laundry room, garage and and a fourth bathroom. The second level has two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The basement is fully renovated and has an additional bathroom. Additonal amenities are a basketball hoop and a trampolin.
The house is located on beautiful Fox Hollow drive which leads to peaceful walks in the East Quogue and Quigue villages. There is a Sportime club nearby with over 30 tennis courts that can arrange lessons or doubles games with players at your level. You can reach beautiful quiet open ocean beaches by a relaxed bike ride (20 min) or drive (5 min) through Quogue mansions area. Or sail, canoe or windsurf at nearby Shinnecock or Peconic Bays (5-15 min drive). Enjoy hiking and birdwatching at nearby Quogue wildlife reserve, with children's Zoo and Nature
museum. Or spend an afternoon visiting the North fork wineries, located only 15 min away. There are several golf courses within a 30 min driving radius.
Dine at a large variety of restaurants within 10-40 min radius in Quogue, Westhampton, Southampton, or Sag Harbor. There are many museums and antique shops in the area and various shopping centers within a 20 min driving range. The quaint East Quogue and Quogue villages are ideal for biking or walking; there is a very attractive library in Quogue with free movies, internet and various community activities (children book readings, classic movie discussions, yoga classes, etc). There are weekly pop and classical music concerts in nearby Westhampton and Southampton, inkluding the modern Parrish museum

Maria and Enrique are originally from Argentina. We are both recently retired MDs. We are blessed with two sons and six grandchildren. Maria is a psychiatrist and artist and Enrique is a medical scientist. We own this house since year 2000. and put a lot of love in its renovation and landscaping. We love the Hamptons and in particular the Quogue Eaast Quogue area because of their peace, quaintness and beautiful beaches and the many nature and cultural activities they and the nearby villages offer. We love hiking, bicycling, tennis, swimming and gardening.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We loved the relaxed serenity and charm of East Quogue and Quogue and the many attractions offered by the Hamptons. We also liked its relative proximity to Manhattan, where we worked for many years, as these towns and nearby elegant Westhampton constitute the western end of the Hamptons

The house is tastefully decorated with all rooms renovated and a mature landscape developed over 20 years. It is located on Fox Hollow Drive, a beautiful street with houses in two acre lots hide behind tall oak and pine trees. The property is located at 15 minute biking distance from beautiful Shinecock Bay and a 10 min bike ride from charming Quogue reserve, a walker's paradise and a second Zen reserve on the Bay.
