This comfortable upscale retreat is adjacent to the Pisgah National Forest and just a short walk from one of Western North Carolinaâs most breathtaking attractions, Elk River Falls.
You have direct access to miles of trails for hiking or mountain biking, and the area is known for trout fishing.
Kick back on the spacious river-facing front porch where you can enjoy your morning beverage and dine while observing nature and living like a local. View Ospreys, Eagles, Kingfishers, and Herons in their natural habitat while listening to the soothing sound of the river. Find unforgettable scenery here, along with the comforts of home.
The Riverhouse has an open floor plan, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room with leather furniture and 3 Recliners. We have a mini split AC/Heating unit in the main living area and a stand-up fan.
Each of the 2 bedrooms have a Queen bed with Egyptian Cotton Sheets and a ceiling fan.

Essential amenities are included: WiFi, AC, towels, sheets, and a washing machine. Our place is equipped for both long and short stays to make your holiday one to remember.

The Riverhouse is your true gateway to over 4700 acres of pristine Pisgah National Forest land. Leisure walks or hiking right out the front door to and beyond Elk River Falls, North Carolina.
Bring mountain bikes or E-bikes, which you can ride for miles down the wide and relatively unknown trails that border our property. Connect to the Appalachian Trail a couple of miles in, and it's possible that you may not encounter anyone on your outing.

Our home is newly remodeled and appointed with adult couples in mind. The dining, kitchen, and living spaces are open to each other, allowing for quality time.
Elk River is known for trout fishing, and you can fish right out front and grill out back!
We have two horses on our property, and if you enjoy the company of horses, you may visit with them at your leisure.
