Amberjack har nyligen renoverats i ett roligt tropiskt tema på Southard Street i det exklusiva gated community of Truman Annex, mycket nära Harry Trumans Little White House och mitt i hjärtat av Old Town Key West. en bra plats att titta på oktober Fantasy Fest Parade som det väver sitt sätt förbi ytterdörren. Amberjack ligger inom bekvämt gångavstånd från Mallory Dock, d��r solnedgången firas varje dag: Duval Street med sina butiker, restauranger och nöjen, och Fort Zachary Beach där det finns ett strandkafé och fantastisk snorkling. På mindre än 2 minuters promenad finns det en deli / närbutik, Coffee Tea Café, Green Parrot Bar och Eaton Bikes där du kan hyra cyklar dagligen eller veckovis till en rimlig takt. Om cykling inte är för dig och du inte vill hyra en bil, kommer Pirate Scooters (som ligger mittemot Green Parrot Bar) att hyra dig en elbil. Fastigheten har en allokerad parkeringsplats f��r gatan. Amberjack ger allt för en avkopplande semester. Helt luftkonditionerade hela med takfläktar i alla rum. Nedre våningen finns ett stort vardagsrum / matsal / kök och ett halv badrum. Vardagsrummet har en mysig soffa som öppnar in i en lyxig queen size-säng med takfläkt ovanför, ytterligare två bekväma stolar, en platt-TV / DVD, CD-stereo, Ipod dockningsstation och Wi Fi bredband. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök och ett matbord med plats för fyra med två bekväma avföring i köksbaren. Uteplatsen är möblerad med bord, stolar, parasoll och elektrisk grill; perfekt för Al Fresco dining på en mild Key West kväll. Utegrill. Den delade poolen är bara 25 fotfalls från uteplatsgrinden. På övervåningen hittar du tvättstuga med stapelbar tvättmaskin / torktumlare och två sovrum, en drottning och en tvilling (som lätt kan omvandlas till en kung) både med eget badrum, TV och balkonger med bord och stolar.

Time for a refresh!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is time for a re-fresh of this unit. Most everything is original. There are some major and minor maintenance issues. One of the major issues is wood rot around the door and windows in the back bedroom.One of the minor issues is the cabinet door below the kitchen sink almost falling off.The front bedroom is especially noisy with foot and vehicle noise on Southard. The front bedroom door to the porch door does not close tightly which allows some of the noise in. Replacing the doors and windows with new hurricane doors and windows would help some. The front bed itself isn't the most comfortable and should be replaced.The stair carpeting is worn and your bare feet will show dirt from walking on them. The unit itself is a very nice but being over 30 years old, it is showing it's age and needs to be updated.

New Year’s in Truman Annex - Amberjack

Reviewer Comments: Amberjack is in a great location. 2 bed/2.5 bath has plenty of room. 2 porches and 2 balconies provide lots of outdoor space. Condo could definitely use some updating/fixes. Kitchen faucet was broken, cabinet doors were very loose, toilet was worn and scratched up. Bathrooms were very dated.

Perfect Location in the Beautiful Truman Annex

Perfect location, beautiful grounds, very comfortable with all supplies included. Could use a bit of updating, but overall a very pleasant stay in Old Town Key West.

This year’s stay.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in several townhouses in the same price point and general location, unfortunately this one was the smallest and most in need of updating as well as some basic maintenance. If you’re looking for something a little more quiet, this is not the rental for you. Being at the entrance sounds like a great idea, but it is very noisy early in the morning with numerous garbage and work trucks rolling in and out.The cleaning staff did a great job and as always Compass Realty makes the whole process easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was great. Location was right next to the exit putting you right by Duval. The porches were nice to relax on. Beds were a bit stiff, ac went out upstairs luckily we had AA’s to replace the ones in the thermostat. AC vent was also dripping condensation on the bed. Internet was out the whole time.

Very Clean

We love to stay in the Truman Annex and the Amberjack townhouse's layout is ideal for two couples or a family. The unit was VERY clean and the furnishings are nice. The fixtures are dated and could, maybe should, be updated. The only complaint we have is that the traffic, morning and night, on Southard Street is very noisy and will affect those sleeping in the upstairs front bedroom.

Great location!

The property was very nice and very well located. We didn't even rent a car, there is a nice bike rental place 50 meters from the front door. Easy ride/walk to the beach. Easy walk to Duvall (the main drag). Much has been made about the A/C. I understand the frustration but with ceiling fans, 75 was very enjoyable the whole week. My family highly recommends this house and world definitely stay here again.

Air conditioning needs repair. Toddler size toilets.

Nice property, excellent location, needs some upgrades. I will not go into the good as you can see that on the property listing. What you wont see is this taken from the Compass property management welcome letter paragraph 4 {Please keep the AC above 74: otherwise, you will freeze the system, you will become warm, you will get cranky, you will call our office, you will wait for the service tech and you will be charged for a service call to repair it, no exceptions.} This is not normal. I have lived in Florida over 40 years and purchased and repaired a large hand full of air conditioners. The AC unit in this rental needs repair to the condenser to stop the freezing issue. The result of not repairing the AC is that the property will feel very damp, and uncomfortable. This will also eventually lead to mold and other issues. The proper way to handle this issue would be to properly service and repair the AC, not to threaten guests against using the AC. We ended up making the best of our slightly cool and sticky rental with hope that future guests will not have to deal with this problem. Also please replace the child size toilets

Great vacation

The front bedroom is quite noisy, between the road noise and roosters. I recommend ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. The location is phenomenal! Very close to Duval street, beaches, and restaurants. The house was spotless. There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues that were so minor I forgot to report. I highly recommend this house.

Awesome Summer Getaway!

Following several happy Amberjack rentals this one disappointed

Neighboring networks okay.Proposed network fix not reliable, no service upstairs. Needed internet for working vacation. Rocking chair we loved on front porch, now a mess on back deck. Area around air conditioning vent in bedroom a mess. Would recommend this property when it gets it’s act together.

We were disappointed with Amberjack. The biggest disappointment was cleanliness, specifically the floors. We did not feel comfortable not wearing shoes either in the house or on the outdoor patios. The patio's were totally disappointing. We had to clean all of the front patio furniture before using. The outdoor patio tiles were so dirty that there was no way to enjoy being outside without shoes. We own a rental in northern Michigan and the cleanliness of the outside is crucial. Our customers come to be outdoors not indoors. It should be no different in Florida. Also the knives in the kitchen. They were all so dull that I could not cut an apple...sounds trite but at the price we are paying we should have half way decent knives.

Thanksgiving stay

My family and I stayed at this property for the week golf thanksgiving. Easy check in and check out, area safe and in walking distance to everything! House was clean could use air conditioner vents to be cleaned and bathroom fan did not work other than that it was a very nice townhouse really enjoyed our time here!

Our stay

There are some areas in this house that are in disrepair and need some attention some light switches are broken and the toilets are running the back deck is totally starting to rot in. it’s very soft to step on we were afraid to use that very much. The toilet seats need to be replaced. Other than that it’s a beautiful home it just needs a little bit of attention The bushes and shrubs around the air conditioner all need to be trimmed back out-of-the-way because I’m sure that’s not good on the electric bill. Thank you

Nice week with family

We had a wonderful time at condo. Linens were nice quality. Water pressure was great! Missed having a grill. A tad noisy due to location of condo. Easy walk to anything! We rented bikes which made the trip even more enjoyable.
