I’m a so very glad that you enjoyed your Holiday. Staying in a boathouse is such a unique experience. With most properties that have gorgeous views, there are Usually some steps or paths to get to the beautiful destination. Most of our guests do not have an issue as this is part of the cottage experience. Please note that we have someone to help to the water should you find that you would like to return in the future. We throughly enjoyed hosting you.

We are so very glad you enjoyed the Boathouse. We love it too! As on most of the beautiful Muskoka Lakes there are winding roads with many hills. As well, most boathouses have many stairs to get to the unique location to enjoy the beauty of staying right over the water. We are grateful that our property only has 42. Numerous properties have many more. Most of our guests have not had any difficulty, but if you would like to return, kindly let us know and we would be happy to help you with your luggage. We are so pleased and proud that that you felt that this was the best Muskoka rental.

Hello Evan. It is unfortunate you didn't enjoy your stay. As you know we are A 5 star property. Yes, we had some work being done and when you arrived we immediately notified the people working on the cottage next door to pack up and leave. We take a lot of pride in our property and want to make sure all of our maintenance is done in between our guest’s schedules. Our guests come first!! In all fairness the construction definitely did not go on all weekend. It ceased immediately. It was unfortunate they woke you when they came back to pack their tools the next morning. As it is a boathouse, In our documents we do advise that we have a boat in the boathouse. Sorry you missed that. It also says that if you do not want us to access it to let us know. Since we didn’t hear from you, we thought it was ok to come and take the boat. We are sorry you misunderstood. It was removed and not returned.I believe the other boat noise was Coming from the boats that go by on the lake. I was happy to arrange a tour of the lake and a discount, however we find that you are a hard guest to please. It’s unfortunate because all of our guests Love it and most Return regularly. We take pride in our 5 star rating. I understand as well that is was a new experience for you. Staying right on the lake is unique and beautiful. On a more positive note I was very happy that you mentioned it was a beautiful spot when we spoke. Again, we apologize that you were woken up.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your time there. It was such a pleasure to have you stay at our boathouse. We feel very fortunate to have this wonderful property and enjoy the opportunity to share. We are in the process of building another beautiful cottage which is in a quiet bay on our beautiful Skeleton Lake. Very similar in décor to the boathouse, this will be a quaint 2 bedroom cottage with a covered porch, on a sandy beach with a private dock and firepit. It is so wonderful to hear that you are nature lovers. At our new property we have had the experience of a lovely visit from a couple of moose!
