We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely adorable—clean, cozy, and close to everything we needed. Our host was incredibly attentive and a great communicator, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfext spot!

This house is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Quiet dead end street, nice back yard with 2 seating areas and plenty of space inside. The owners are excellent.

This lovely home was well-appointed and just right for a Spring Break visit. So many little touches like cereal bars and coffee/tea, hand soaps/lotions, and cozy blankets made this a home away from home.

Perfect for a week near Notre Dame

The proximity to Notre Dame was great, and I appreciated how well stocked the home was! We got a bit of a surprise snow fall and I texted the owners asking where I might find a shovel and within 20 minutes, the driveway was cleared!

Good location for Notre Dame

Located in a nice residential neighborhood. It’s close to ND but is not in a student area. The house was clean and well cared for and well stocked with necessities. Everything from popcorn to oatmeal to an assortment of lotions, shampoos, etc. to blanket throws and a variety of pillows. I’ll try to book this place the next time I’m in South Bend.

Has everything you need!

Great location, close to Notre Dame but on a very quiet street. It was perfect for our stay! We had an Expo to attend in Elkhart which wasn’t to far. It is a beautiful home with a lovely backyard. Wonderful fire pit! Definitely recommend!

Quiet Gem

Chip and Kathleen truly care about their property and the guests that stay at their home. It was spotless, the property immaculate and their attention to detail not lost on us. We stay at many VRBO properties and this one is at the top of our list. The owners reached out to us to make sure everything was OK. We had one question which was answered very quickly. We hope to stay here upon our return to Southbend!

Clean, comfortable, safe

We loved our stay -the house is in a safe neighborhood, and was very clean and well decorated. We will definitely stay here again! We really appreciated the oatmeal packets as we didn’t have it in us to walk (or Uber) to a grocery store to buy breakfast food after walking 7 miles all over ND campus (as we toured the school for college decision time) — THANK YOU!!!

Perfect for visiting Notre Dame

In a good safe neighborhood close enough to walk to Notre Dame. Adult son & his wife took bedroom with queen bed. I took one of the two twin beds in the other room. The one bathroom is pretty small, but we managed to make it work. Large dining area. Kitchen has most anything you'd need to eat in, except a dishwasher (i became the designated "dishwasher"). Appreciated the water bottles, coffee and snacks. Would book again.

Perfect Place!

Great little gem of a house with a lovely backyard! Nicely decorated,very clean and wonderfully organized! Especially appreciated was the step by step directions on how to work the TV and the delicious ground coffee that was provided for us to use! We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Kathleen and her five siblings grew up in this neighborhood. Their childhood home is three houses down and across the street and many of the neighbors she grew up with are still living in the neighborhood. It's a very safe and friendly neighborhood that's tucked away from traffic and rather private. It's so close to campus, that it's a perfect place to park and walk to the stadium, so there's a lot of fans flowing in and out of the neighborhood on Notre Dame Football Saturdays.
