Portage Lion sitter pÄ fyra vackert anlagda tunnland som tidigare var en del av en plantskola. Vi Àr bara 15 minuter frÄn University of Notre Dame och centrala South Bend och 30 minuter till Lake Michigan strÀnder. Denna nyrenoverade studio pÄ 750 kvadratmeter med tvÄ sovplatser, Àr luftkonditionerade och har ett fullt utrustat kök, matsal, vardagsrum och sovrum med 1 badrum. WiFi, kabel, hÄrtork, köksartiklar, brödrost och kaffebryggare Àr utrustade med hyra. Vi har hÀrlig mogen flora, mycket stora trÀd, en grotta och arkitektoniska hÄrdlandskap funktioner. FrÄga om att anvÀnda den stora uteplatsen i blÄ sten vid huvudhuset. Vandra runt och titta pÄ funktionerna och kolla in vÄr stora grönsakstrÀdgÄrd! En mycket parkliknande kÀnsla. Andra utomhusfaciliteter inkluderar parkering, gungessÀttning och öppna utrymmen för att spela fotboll, fotboll eller bara springa runt. Mot en extra avgift kan den hÀr stora lÀgenheten rymma 1-2 till pÄ en soffa och / eller Àgaren levererade upphöjd luftmadrass i full storlek.

Stayed at the Portage Lion for 2 nights for the ND game. Clean, comfortable, and so quiet!Easy check in using a code to the studio. Refrigerated breakfast foods and coffee provided was a welcome touch! Tim and Suzanne made us feel at home during our stay.Would definitely stay here again!

Great property and great location

We had a fantastic stay, the property was exactly as described, spotless, well maintained, tastefully decorated and has everything you need, the fridge was even stocked with a complementary breakfast and snacks, the owners are really nice. I highly recommend this property to anyone asking for a quiet retreat and a convenient location, I would definitely book it again.

This place is AWESOME! Very quiet location, the accommodations were perfect for my wife and I. We had everything we needed and the host's were great. If we ever need a place to stay in South Bend, this will be our first choice.

Quick Visit

My husband and I decided last minute to catch a Notre Dame Women’s Basketball game and see our daughter play in the pep band. This was the perfect place to stay. It had everything we needed for our short stay and was within an easy drive to campus. We’d definitely stay here again.

Nice location and Very Clean

This property was located close to so many attractions and restaurants. It was very clean and well stock if you plan on cooking/eating at the studio. A continental breakfast was also furnished which was an unexpected treat. It was nicely decorated and very quiet. Would highly recommend to anyone who plans to be in this area. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in the area.

We came down to South Bend for a Notre Dame football game and were looking for a place close to the campus. The apartment was tidy and cozy. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Clean, organized studio with thoughtful owners

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable studio. We were greeted by Tim who made sure that we had all that we needed to make the most of our stay. The rental had everything - a family room/seating area with a TV and board game, a dining area with seating for four, a nice bed, and a kitchenette that was stocked for our stay with fruit, yogurt, granola, bagels, coffee and tea - all a very nice touch when away from home. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean and cute studio

This was a very clean and nicely furnished studio. It was near Notre Dame and several downtown restaurants, so perfect for my husband and I for the weekend. It was a little complicated to find, but the host's check in email was very thorough so we were able to get there after re-reading through it! There was yogurt and granola, kuerig coffee pods and a lovely loaf of chocolate chip bread in the fridge for us. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and the backyard area was really nice. The only negative is that the studio is connected to some kind of garage/storage facility so there was quite a bit of banging noise and loud talking coming through the walls, but that was all during the day and the room was very quiet while we were sleeping. If we're in the area again, we would definitely stay here, but maybe in the cottage as it's separate from the garage units.

Nice to be on the Property but adjacent to main house. To walk into APT. you go into a musty, warm entry, then enter and the air conditioning is not on and the APT. smells and feels musty and it's uncomfortable for awhile. Windows have room darkening shades if needed. Pretty quiet, esp. at night. But the property sits far back from street but on a corner/4way stop. You will hear traffic noise. There's not much to do outside the Guest House. You have to get in car to go anywhere or do anything. Not Walkable. Looks like they are in the middle of renovating another Guest House. Great Hostess, Suzanne.

We were in town to enjoy a Norte Dame football game. The Studio was the perfect place to recharge after a long day on campus. Very quiet and comfortable. Restaurants and shopping were easy to access by car. All in all a perfect experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Studio. Came into town for a concert and the location was perfect. Close enough to campus but in a nice quiet neighborhood. The Studio felt larger in person than in the pictures. Very clean, with nice little touches. You could tell the host was very thoughtful - between the extra blankets, snacks in the fridge, plenty of coffee and tea options. Would definitely stay here again.

Visiting sister in South Bend

Was in South Bend for a quick trip to visit my sister. Location was right across the street from the entrance to my sister’s subdivision. Beautiful grounds, the had a continental breakfast available in our refrigerator. Great tea selection and coffee for us. Will stay again next time I am in town.

Suzanne works at Notre Dame International and is also a personal chef and cooking instructor. She attended St. Bonaventure and Denver Universities. We have lived in South Bend over 25 years and can assist guests finding local attractions and services.
