Privat lägenhet i 42 hektar stor gated bondgård på en bergstopp med dramatisk utsikt över havet nedan och en bakgrund av Kalmiopsis vildmarksbilder bakom. Stort sovrum med Kalifornien King säng och individuellt justerade madrasser på varje sida, inneslutna av fönster på två sidor för att möjliggöra fri utsikt över vattnet över havet och Winchuck älvdalen nedanför. Stort badrum, pentry och vardagsrum.

Utanför den privata ingången hittar du en jacuzzi (perfekt för att njuta av solnedgången över havet) samt en utomhusbänk för att njuta av integritet och miljö, titta på valar eller läs den boken du har lagt av. Det är väldigt tyst, med det mjuka och mjuka, men oföränderliga ljudet av surfen nedanför dig. I ryggen sträcker sig vandrings- och cykelleder i miles i de obefolkade Kalifornien och Oregon skogarna. Stranden är tillgänglig med 5 minuters bilresa under fastigheten.

Absolutely beautiful and perfect

I had to travel to Crescent city for work and found this property which was a 30 minute drive to my workplace but well worth the drive. The hosts are amazing. The living quarters is perfect for a couple and beautiful. Nothing beats the view from this property. You have the perfect view of the mountains and the ocean. The property is just a short drive to the beach, and to the redwood forest. We went to the Grove of the Titans and Stout Grove as recommended by the hosts and was absolutely beautiful. We wish we had more time as I heard that Smith river is absolutely beautiful to Kayak down and is not far from the property. You can rent Kayaks also not far from the property. We will definitely come back and stay here again should work bring me back to the area. A big thank you to the hosts!!

Beautiful Views! Fantastic Location!

We loved our stay! We spent both evenings relaxing on the lawn, watching the sunset over the ocean—it was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect: close to everything you'd want to see in the area, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and private. The space was comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful views!

I enjoyed my stay overall. It was quiet and it had beautiful and magical views! Patti and Rodney were very attentive and where there to greet me when I arrived along with their sweet dog Sharlie . However I did make some suggestions to Patti such as providing a cozy blanket for the couch and that more attention to the bath area would have been nice. I will add now that having more towels available for the hottub and bathing area would be great in the future. I was able to catch a sunset and took lots of beautiful photos. I hope to stay again in the future!and more towels for the bathroom.

This is the perfect spot for a couple. We were doing a few hikes in the redwoods coming from the Willamette Valley. We couldn’t have asked for more amazing view and relaxation. We will definitely be coming back here.

I know this property has amazing views from the photos, but we experienced heavy fog and could barely see beyond the yard. Unique, beautiful property

We really enjoyed staying here. It was a one of a kind location with views of the ocean, redwood forests and mountains ... from the relaxing hot tub, to! We were amazed you could hear the ocean but not the highway. Lovely hosts!

Incredible Views!

My bestie and I enjoyed our stay at this incredible home with breathtaking views. The Mother-in-law suite included a private entrance just off of the hot tub pad, and views of the Redwoods and the ocean. Only moments away from the casino and nestled between Crescent City and Brookings, this home was ideal for a couple of gals wanting to experience this part of the coast. We had the best time and laughed until we cried, hot tubbed, and even enjoyed a private concert through the ceiling as the homeowner practiced his saxophone. 🎼🎷 There was great communication from the host, and it was just a perfect stay in every way. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Lovely, Secluded Getaway!

We had a beautiful stay! Everything was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The host was communicative in advance -- make sure you read the instructions on how to get in through the gate. We really enjoyed sitting outside, and the hot tub was perfect, with such panoramic views everywhere we could see. Would definitely return!

Beautiful Mountain escape

A beautiful space on the very top of the mountain. Everything was absolutely perfect from my initial conversation with Patti to arriving at their beautiful home. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and superb. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Ocean and mountain views

This property is private and secluded and therefore safe and quiet. There are amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The apartment had all amenities and a hot tub. Perfect size for a couple with a nice bathroom including his and her sinks. Very affordable for everything you get. Would definately recommend.

Hilltop Paradise

Fantastic location, lovely host. My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and decided to drive up the coast from SF. I was second guessing coming all the way up to Smith River, but so so glad we did. Patti and Rodney are great host who really want to make sure you enjoy your stay. Patti’s recommended a Rogue River boat excursion and it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The apartment is super comfortable and clean. The view is outstanding and the location is easily accessible to drive up into Oregon and enjoy the scenery. I would highly recommend this VRBO. Can’t beat it for the price!!

Perfect for Relaxation

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this location. The view was breathtaking since you can see Oregon from where you are. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax from our days of driving and hiking.

Absolutely Beautiful!!

This property was gorgeous. The fog did not allow us to enjoy it as as much as we could have but what we did see was amazing. The owner was very nice and very helpful. We just stayed as we were passing through, but it would’ve been nice to be able to stay longer.

Amazing find with incredible views!

This was our first wedding anniversary trip and it couldn't have been better! The owners even left us an anniversary card and flowers! This cute little apartment was just amazing! Gorgeous views of Pelican Bay, Brookings, and the surrounding mountains! And a most comfortable bed! Highly recommended! We will be back!

We only stayed one night because of a family emergency. This place had the most beautiful view I have ever seen. The apartment does not have a full kitchen. It has a microwave, small fridge, Small sink, an hot plate and sparse silverware. There were also curtains in the kitchen which hid the door behind it. It did not bother us, but it might bother other’s. There were no extra blanket’s. I was given one by request. I think the most difficult thing was the music Rodney was playing above our bedroom. He gave us a white noise diffuser so we could not hear him. We could hear him. It was not a quiet stay.

Absolutely Dreamy

My fiancé and I could not have asked for a better stay! The property and apartment are absolutely beautiful with a view that had me convinced I was dreaming. One direction is the ocean, one a perfect view of Brookings (especially pretty at night), and one the lush green mountains. Seriously incredible! The sunset view from the hot tub was a favorite of ours! Patti is a fantastic host as well. She was welcoming, kind, helpful, and had thought of everything. The apartment is stocked with everything we could need with clear instructions. Additionally, the location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and downtown. This was the most relaxing trip of my life, and we are so excited to come stay again next time!

The climate and location make us feel like it's the perfect place to live, whether its sunny or rainy. We love the outdoors, whether it is walking our cute town or our beautiful beaches. My husband has fished all over the US and says we do have world-class fishing.

This is a downstairs apartment with a private entrance in our custom home on top of a 42 acre estate. We built the custom home on this property seeking the ideal combination of privacy, ocean views and sounds, as well as being able to see far into the back country (there's nothing much behind us for 100 miles).
You can see snowcapped vistas 80 miles away during the winter.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are close to the beach. We have 3 National Parks within 20 minutes, there are trails to hike and great antiquing and shopping in Brookings. There is a fun port with great coffee, pizza, and restaurants. We have two movie theaters, antiquing, shopping and the best beach walks along a craggy coastline.
You can look at the shooting stars and pick out the constellations. You will feel like you can touch the moon! you will love it here.
We have elk, deer and beautiful soaring birds. We probably have 40 different kind of birds and occasionally see bald eagles right from our bench staring at the beach.
