Denna en historia, två sovrum stuga sover sex (två queen sängar och en drottning bäddsoffa). Sjön tillgång i en privat vik är en kort promenad bort så ta din kajak, paddle board eller kanot. Om du söker en lugn plats att koppla av eller leta efter utomhus äventyr, har du hittat den perfekta platsen att landa. Trillium Cottage ligger i Blue Boar Estates, minuter från Robbinsville, North Carolina. Njut av skönheten i Nantahala National Forest och Lake Santeetlah.

Börja dagen med kaffe på verandan och titta på fåglarna flyga högt över sjön när morgondimmen sakta försvinner. Tillbringa dagar på vandring, fiske, cykling, simning, paddling eller bara koppla av på verandan med en bra bok eller tidskrift. Avsluta din dag med en blötläggning i badtunnan under stjärnans täcke! Exeptional Host

This is a great property. Soon after arrival, it became clear that the heat was not working. The host made arrangments for us to stay in a nearby rental. He went above and beyond. Look forward to going back once the heat is fixed, or it's summer and we can swim in the lake! So much to see and explore in that part of the world.

Wonderful experience

We loved our stay at Trillium cottage, and Lake Santeetlah. Spent many hours on the lake with the family, hiked in Joyce Kilmer, and enjoyed just hanging out in this beautiful cottage. Thanks Jim, you were a wonderful host!

Lovely Cottage

My kids and I stayed here in early July '23. The cottage is lovely. It's close enough to go explore and do things, but also secluded for privacy. The host does a great job communicating with you before and during your stay, if need be. The hot tub was spacious and the wifi was strong enough to connect to the world when needed. It's also located close to my favorite hike Huckleberry Knob. Defintely recommend.

Great cottage with amazing views

Great cottage and home base for doing some fly fishing in snowbird creek. The view from the front deck is amazing. Cottage had everything we needed. We really appreciate the owner’s flexibility and responsiveness.

Mountain high

Beautiful house and even more beautiful view! Fell in love with the area. My daughter is planning her wedding at Tapoco Lodge and this was our home base. Clean, cozy, well appointed home. Jim thought of everything.

Amazing Little Cottage

This little cottage was absolutely amazing. We wish we had booked it for longer--we were only there for two nights. Jim was a very communicative host and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The place was very clean and had an amazing view. Jim didn't miss one detail--there was everything anyone could have needed right there. Next time we will stay longer and enjoy more of what it had to offer. Great Cabin & view

This was the nicest cottage (best view) that we've stayed with tons of cooking supplies and certainly roomy enough for 4 people (2 couples). Everything was as described. We did like many others and drove down to the lake (10-12min hike) because the path IS the driveway/road.

Great property!

This place was loads of fun!! We have four kids, 11 and under, and we fit just fine. This property has everything you need: towels, toiletries, oil for cooking, lots of pots and pans, and spices! Very well stocked kitchen! You need to drive to the lake for lake access but it’s really close and has a wonderful cove that is the perfect size for kayaking and swimming. You can also kayak/boat outside of the cove.

Wonderfully peaceful location

We are two retired couples from Virginia and Tennessee that decided to meet together for a visit and to see the Joyce Kilmer forest. The view from the deck is wonderful. The house is one of the best maintained and all needs and then some in the kitchen. Really excellent. The drive way is admittedly (we were warned by the owner) quite steep, but we both made it up without difficulty.

Perched on a hillside over a quiet Santeelah bay- a fine setting. The Hot tub following days hiking or paddling was just as fine. Exceeded expectations on all counts.

The perks are in the details!

We enjoyed our stay at Jim's with all the amenities , the location, the hot tub and all the little details that make a stay even cozier! Things like super comfy robes, a fully equipped kitchen with spices and teas, awesome board games to play, and access to a gorgeous lake with paddleboard and canoe. We didn't get to use those this trip but we will the next time! Thank you Jim! We look. forward to coming back!

Charming cottage with mountain and lake views

This cottage is a mile off the highway and has lovely views at a 2000’ elevation. It allows access to all types of outdoor recreation, and there are lots of hikes in the area (which is what we were looking for). Fall colors just starting to turn.

Growing up in both Florida and Virginia, my family often vacationed in the mountains of North Carolina. Later I graduated from Western Carolina University. In 1992 I moved to Asheville, NC and began exploring the surrounding mountains. I first camped at Lake Santeetlah in the early 2000s and fell in love with the area. I set a goal of one day owning property on or near the lake.

The minute I set foot on the porch of Trillium Cottage I fell in love with this property. Photos don't do justice to the incredible view. While the cottage is wonderfully simple and well appointed, it's all about the view.
