Entering the home was a bit tricky because the steps to the keypad door were loose and could have easily broken under foot. The house was amazing, clean, beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

My husband, two of our young adult daughters, our two dogs and I had a lovely stay at Allegan Gardens. The house is charming, and the owner has added so many details to make this feel like something more than just another vacation house rental. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and took full advantage of the pool, the grill, patio and fire pit area. It's a very short drive into downtown Saugutuck and all of its dining and shopping offerings, plus plenty of spots to sit by the river and watch the boats go by.All in all, just the relaxing stay we were looking for.

Great Spot for a Getaway

My wife and I stayed here along with our two labs. All of us enjoyed the stay. My wife and I enjoyed the classic home (nicely restored), the cleanliness, the thoughtful touches in the house, and the central location. The labs loved the backyard, watching wildlife out the window, and nearby parks with hiking trails.

We have stayed at Allegan Gardens for several years now, and it is always great. Close to town, but very private. Our family always enjoys the pool. The host is easily reached if we need anything, and his response time is quick. It is a great place to stay with our children and our grandchildren.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This was a well cared for property that unfortunately fell into disrepair for a number of years. We purchased the property in November 2012 and spent months bringing it back to life. We are very proud of the work we have done and would love to share our home with you and your family and friends.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Comfortably sleeps 9, private heated pool, lush landscaping, close to town hide-away with privacy, easy parking for multiple cars, boats and recreational vehicles, individually owned and managed.
