Family of 7 traveling into Buffalo for a wedding. 6 adults:(three couples) one 17 yr old. This was perfect for what we needed. The apt is on the second floor. Stairs are a little steep but not too bad. The apt was great. They have a lot of dining ware and cooking ware, if you choose to cook in. The dining room table is fantastic! The two double beds are in tight rooms but hey you're only sleeping there. The master bedroom is great with a small room off to the side! It is centrally located to pretty much anything you want to do in Buffalo!:There is one parking spot in the driveway as there are three apts in the building. There is plenty of street parking!

This is in a very blighted area. The house next door looks vacant and is boarded up. The house across the street is missing its siding. The supposed off-street parking is a mud pit. The house sits on a very busy intersection and the off street parking is down the street. There’s a reason they don’t show exterior pictures. Every local we talked to after the host refused any type of refund told us that we were better off because it was not a safe area. One said we literally and figuratively dodged a bullet.

Rich, I’m sorry the area was not what you expected when you arrived. I do want to clarify a few things for future guests. The home itself has been fully gutted and remodeled, and the roof and siding are only about 2 years old, so thankfully our house is not the one auditioning for a haunted house movie. This is also a city property, and like most major cities, the neighborhood has older homes, busy streets, ongoing renovations, and plenty of character. The house across the street was in the middle of a remodel during your stay, which I understand can affect first impressions. Regarding the driveway and parking area, we maintain it every year with fresh gravel. Your stay was in early March, when Buffalo winter and thaw conditions make it tough to redo exterior gravel work until the ground firms up. The driveway has since been redone and is in great shape now. While we cannot control every neighboring property or city street condition, we do take pride in maintaining our home, communicating honestly, and giving guests a clean, comfortable place to stay. I’m sorry this was not the right fit for your trip, but I appreciate the feedback and wish you well.

The area was fine, parking on site, check-in went smooth, room was clean. I think the comment about this place being “blighted“ was rooted in racism. Some people drove their cars with the windows down, and you hear the music (lots of good tunes) when you go outside. Don’t listen to that abject loser, the place was good. Only feasible complaint was the water pressure and small bathroom, but we saw the pics before and knew what we were getting into. It’s a renovated old Buffalo home, not the Ritz… you get a lot of bang for your buck here, especially for a short stay. Would definitely book again.
