Your Fredericksburg adventure begins at this 2-bedroom house. With 2 king beds and 1 daybed, this beautiful property offers a peaceful escape. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this "Sunday" style cottage! You will love the front porch, how close it is to Main Street (.6 miles) and all the comforts of this charming home.! This 2 bedroom 2 bath will sleep up to six people and the fully equipped kitchen will also comfortably accommodate your group. NOTE This house has 2 front doors. It is not a duplex. Enjoy this space for your couples getaway or girls trip! It's close to everything and still feels like you’re in the country. I wouldn’t describe it as walkable to Main Street, although some guests do. I will happily answer any of your questions and help you plan your stay.

It's an old house with some history and lots of charm. It is conveniently located to the town of Fredericksburg and has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you will need if you're planning to do some cooking along with a large assortment of spices and a few other items that might come in handy. Both the check-in and check-out processes are simple and easy. Lastly, the owner (Ellie) is very helpful and easy to contact should you have any questions.

The cutest little home in a very convenient location to get to Main Street. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, and the host was so helpful and communicative. Couldn’t recommend this listing enough!

Beautiful home, very quiet and low traffic location. Loved having an easy place to relax and drink both in the kitchen and in the living room after being out and about all day. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This house was wonderful to stay in! We booked it for a weekend getaway after Christmas and enjoyed our stay. We felt comfortable prepping our Christmas dinner in the kitchen, and the three of us slept comfortably. The home was clean when we arrived, and had some of the softest bath towels I’ve ever used! Would recommend this for a couples getaway or friend get away.

The host, Ellie, was fabulous. Very responsive, friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy. The bed pillows were perfect and made for a great nights sleep. There were four of us (females over age of 60) and we all slept great and enjoyed the stay. We would recommend more seating in the living room though. Just not room for more than three people. Maybe replace sofa with new love seat, remove the beautiful but unnecessary piece of furniture next to it and put a chair on both sides of couch. Parking is extremely limited and space available is very narrow. That said we did manage to park a SUV and full size pickup in the drive. Another suggestion is to remove the rose hedges from the front at street as they scratch the vehicles when you try and park in the street and you have to try and get around them when walking up to avoid being scratched yourself. All of that said we would absolutely stay here again and recommend others to check it out.

Thank you for these helpful details! I am so happy to hear that your group was very comfortable during your stay and that you found it to be very clean! We actually have someone coming out on Thursday to take care of those bushes, so very y’all had to deal with that. With the rose hedges tended too, future guests should find that there is plenty of parking. I also appreciate the recommendation for additional living room seating and will modify that setup asap. What a perfect landing place to experience so much of Fredericksburg! Located off the main road we had no trouble getting to everything we had planned quickly and easily. Communication was easy and quick. The house is adorable and setup with everything we needed. I only wish we had been able to stay longer! While here we checked out the bats at Old Tunnel State Park (book your tickets early!) and hiked several trails at Enchanted Rock (go early!).

Very roomy. Quiet location not far from downtown. Host was very accommodating and helped us with an unavoidable change in our schedule. Comfortable and clean. There was just two of us but big enough for a family. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard too.

We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg. The home was charming, clean and well stocked. Wished we could have stayed longer. We appreciated how helpful our host was in her quick communication in taking care of an item we had left behind. I would deffinitely come back and stay again and highly recommend it for those visiting the area.

I Airbnb my house in Fredericksburg and also tent/RV campsites in Bandera, as well as an off-grid camper. I’m super passionate about hiking and camping and being outside as much as possible!

1920s, beaded board walls and high ceilings. Beautiful antique pieces throughout the house. Large front porch faces an open field. Sunset views are gorgeous! Very close to Main Street, yet far enough away to feel like you’re relaxing in the country.
