Ligger på östra stranden av sjön Almanor, välkomnar denna mycket privata lakefront hem dig och din familj. Njut av spektakulära solnedgångar och utsikt över Mount Lassen från köksbordet. En privat strand gränsar till fastigheten perfekt för morgonpromenader. Det finns ett stort däck, gas BBQ och bord för att äta måltider utanför. Under däck finns två stora gungstolar perfekt för en siesta på eftermiddagen. För barnen finns en hästsko grop, basketkorg, hängmatta, kanot och brygga.

Örnar och fiskgjuse häckar i närheten av huset och kan ses nästan dagligen. Deer ofta besöker kabinen. Gäss och snäppor kan ofta ses promenader på stranden också. Fiske i vattnen i framför hytten för liten mun bas är bra.

Utmärkt fiske efter regnbåge och öring finns i närheten. Morgnar är vanligtvis glasartad och perfekt för vattenskidor. Eftermiddagarna ger utmärkta förutsättningar för en lugn segel. Kvällarna är underbar tid för en promenad på stranden för att njuta av vackra solnedgångar.

Beautiful Lake Home

We are from Chester and decided to rent a lake house to pretend we were on vacation after work. This is a great location. Water is beautiful. Loved the swing, campfire pit, Cornhole and other amentities to make it even more enjoyable. Thank you

Amazing Family Vacation

We just spent 6 wonderful days at this home on Lale Almanor. We already want to rebook our next trip and stay again. You cannot beat the location. You are right on the lake and you have a view of Mt. Lassen. The main living space is very large and well equipped for a family to play games and eat together. They have horseshoes, bocci ball, corn hole, board games, a canoe, and a kayak. We played and enjoyed the lake all day. The upstairs is a huge loft with 6 beds. The second bedroom and bathroom upstairs is a little funky with short ceilings, but totally workable and cozy. We loved the home and can’t wait to be back.

Perfect family getaway

Our stay at this property was nothing but a fantastic experience. It's our second time here and in the three years since our previous stay the owner made several upgrades. This is really nice to see because when the owner cares about the house and the experience for the renter you know you will have a lovely trip. It's a very nice dock. Even my disabled son was able to navigate it. We had an issue with the upstairs bathroom and the owner was on top of it and sent out someone to fix it that very same day. The house was clean, it has great amenities, fully stocked kitchen, AC, internet, outdoor toys, ability to put the boat in from the property, and so much more! We'll be back. Highly recommend.

Great for my Family

We had a wonderful time at our stay. We have 5 children and the property was perfect for our family. With the lake, the dock, the basketball hoop, the small "forest" to explore, a fire pit, and horseshoes, there was always something for them to do. This is not a luxury cabin, but it has all the things you need for a fun Lake Almanor adventure, and many of the things you would want. We had been tent camping for years at Lake Almanor, but decided to try a cabin this year because I had to be available for work via the computer. This was perfect. Spent a day water skiing and tubing, then curled up by the wood burning stove and watched movies during a rain storm. I look forward to returning again.

Wonderful family vacation

David’s property provided everything we were looking for for our family vacation. The location was perfect, quiet, and easy to get to. We loved how we could get into town within 15 minutes and also access the hiking/biking trail near the public boat launch by the dam within 15 minutes. We were able to launch our ski boat with no issues right off the beach on the property. The dock was in great shape and it was so nice to have our boat accessible there on calm days. The cabin is very roomy and is equipped with everything we needed. There was ample supplies so we didn’t run out of anything during our two week stay. The home has really great sound insulation. David was very responsive to all of my questions and very kind and informative. We brought my elderly grandparents with us and my grandmother who uses a walker was able to navigate the cabin so well. It was great having a bedroom on the bottom floor with a nice large bathroom. It was perfect for her and my grandpa. The upstairs has recently had new mini splits installed which was nice on warmer days. I loved waking up to the view of the lake from the upstairs sleeping loft. Sunsets from the deck were spectacular. We will be back for sure!

Amazing Family Retreat

WOW! Our family vacation in this home was spectacular. Upon walking in the front door, we were amazed at how spacious the house was and the natural light that flows in. We loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen! In person, it is even better than the photos! The most wonderful aspect of this property was how close it is to the lake. You can see the lake from every window, and within a few feet of walking from the deck, you can put your toes in the lake! We had ALL of our meals at the table on the deck, with a view of Mt. Lassen and the lake. Waking up and sitting by the lake with our morning coffee was the best. David, the owner was beyond wonderful, by having great communication with us. We were even able to speak with him briefly during our stay when we had a question. The property is full of fun things to do like kayaking and canoeing (these come with the house), horseshoes, darts, and a super fun dock to sit on and enjoy the sunsets! We had campfires in the firepit and we even relaxed on our beach blanket after dark to look at the stars! Overall, we feel so fortunate to have found this house. The peace and quiet was a gift to our family and our relaxation level was off the charts! Thank you, David!

You can't beat the location! Everything was great. Your own private jetty with toys to play with. The house was well equipped and had everything we need, bbq etc. We will be back. Thank you.

Peace on the lake!

Very spacious and comfortable cabin, location right on the beach. Minutes to good fishing, and close to Westwood if you need something you forgot. Sunsets were amazing as was the peacefulness of the deck overlooking Lake Almanor!

Perfect place for Summer FUN!!

We had the best 5 days here! The lake was gorgeous, the check in process was seamless, house was well stocked and the sunsets were incredible! We launched our wakeboard boat and jet skis from the backyard and toed our floating island to the dock. The kids swam, kayaked and played cards on the patio for hours. The horseshoe pits were great entertainment too! We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!😄

We loved it! Will definitely be coming back!

The house is in a great location and on a nice flat beach. It was very simple and convenient to launch our boat and have it docked for the weekend. The cabin is very clean with a nice open floor plan and plenty of beds to sleep a group. The owner was very helpful and quick to get back to us with any questions we had.

Not what expected

The house was too close to the hwy, and the train goes thru 3 times a nite. It wasn't particularly clean and the sheets didn't appear to have been washed as they were all wrinkled on the bed. It's a mistake to have only one size (large) drinking glasses and only 2 wine glasses for a house that sleeps at least 10 people. The TV didn't work nor did the oven, and we had to wait 3 days for the service man, who we then had to stay in the house for 4 hrs. waiting for him. A lesson learned is not to rent from someone that doesn't have a local property mgr. We have used VRBO before , and this is the 1st time we were not happy.

October Bliss

What a great long weekend get away! We decided to go to the lake for a quick mini vacation. Due to our work load we are not available in the summer, so we make fall our vacation time. The lake was peaceful, calm and we couldn't have asked for better weather. David was more then accommodating and made sure we were taken care of in every aspect. The amenities were completely stocked which made our stay very convenient. The easy access to launching our boat and having the dock made the trip a breeze. We will definitely be back and I would recommend the house to any vacationers. There was a bit of traffic noise during the day, but not a drawback for being right on the lake. Thank you David for the wonderful stay!

Lake Dreams

Hi David, We loved the lake house. The house itself is charming and cozy. The views were spectacular and I just wanted to stay outside and enjoy them. It was wonderful having a dock for the boat. Perfect summer retreat

Great Lake House. Exactly the kind of house that family memories are made. Beautiful lake front property with dock and comfy home. Lots to do or perfect place to relax and listen to waves lapping shore. Nicely updated kitchen with everything you need to make a meal. Plus was blackberry bushes out front picked fresh berries every morning for breakfast.
