Traditional A-Frame Log cabin amongst the trees with lake/beach just steps away. Cabin sits on just under an acre in the Lake Almanor country club. Enjoy the large front deck with views of the lake, and backyard with BBQ. The cabin is very clean and cozy. The country club offers Tennis courts, pickle ball, a large sandy beach, and events such as live music!

Incredible lake access! We were able to park our boat at the dock during the day. The access to the lake is the greatest feature of this rental. Some of the house instructions could have been more specific, such as what to do with recycling. Some of the appliances are outdated. But overall, the stay was lovely. We would rent this place again.

Vacation lakeside

The property was clean and tidy. It is an older home, could use some updating, but very nicely maintained. Nice big deck with table and chairs and chaise to enjoy the lake view. BBQ-propane. Well supplied. No AC so bring fans, upstairs gets pretty warm in the summer heat. There are ceiling fans, but you will need floor fans as well. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.

Lakeside Cabin

Ideal locale. Nice sized cabin nestled in the woods with deck and with its own dock on Lake Almanor. Kitchen had most supplies needed but renters need to bring a lot of other supplies like soap, toilet paper shampoo. We could not find grill utensils. Although generally a comfortable place, this rental would benefit from A purchase of new mattresses for all beds. An added bonus would be lake gear like floaters and kayaks on site. If you want to rent kayaks call High Elevation. Will deliver yo dock. Great people.

Miscommunication with rsvp/property not clean when arrived. Leaking in upstairs tub (no shower upstairs). Light/fan switches very confusing. VRBO communication unsatisfactory. Location good, boat dock available

Looked good on line - was good in person

We had made reservations earlier at another property which unexpectedly were cancelled. This property was given as one of the suggestions for the same time period we wanted to go. We were pleasantly surprised with the cabin, the short access to the beach and lake and the proximity to Chester and other potential fishing places nearby. We wondered why it was still available. Jacke and Michael were more than helpful resolving the only real issue we had which was with the direct tv - they contacted the provider and kept checking with us until the issue was resolved. The kitchen was well stocked as far as cooking utensils, dishes, etc. The beds, sofa and love seat were all very comfortable. They provide a secure internet connection which was a pleasant surprise. Their was also a washer and dryer and BBQ grill available for our use. Overall it was a very pleasant few days this trip but plan on doing it again another year (hopefully next year).

The house is very cozy , lake is a 5 min. walk if that you can see the lake for the house. love it

the house is an older home but was still a nice place. there was a leak in the bathroom from the up stairs bathroom other then that is was all good.

This cabin has built by our family in 1962. The inside has beautiful natural log walls with a large master bedroom facing the lake. The location is very private with no neighbors close by. A small trail leads you to the beach.
