The unit was available as a long term stay, which it should not have been listed as such. The 'kitchenette' consisted of a small mini fridge and a microwave. No sink for dishes, no hot plate to cook anything on, and we'd booked the unit for a full month. The 'kitchenette' was also blocking the only available closet in the unit, which was really weird.Additionally, the shower in the bathroom had at best five minutes of slightly warmer than room temp water before it got cold. It was also tiny, and there was a french style door to open before getting in that couldn't open all the way due to its close proximity to the toilet. The furniture was comfortable and the place was decorated well. The host did communicate well, and there were plenty of things within walking distance. However, being advertised that there was a kitchenette in a long term rental and discovering the abysmal 'kitchenette' and shower was a huge let down. The icing on the cake that made us leave less than a week in was the mouse that ran across the carpet one evening. It quickly darted into the blocked closet, and we moved the kitchenette out of the way and found the mouse had come in via the crawlspace. There were mouse droppings EVERYWHERE in the 'kitchenette'. On the shelves. Behind the microwave. In the cutlery bin. It was beyond disgusting and so incredibly unhygienic. The host also asked us to not leave them a bad review, which left an even further unsavory opinion of them and the unit.
