This was our 3rd stay at Spotted Rock. We utilized the private lake almost everyday, this year which we opted out of on previous stays. We caught sooooo many fish and had such a great time. The weather was wonderful. We had fires in the fireplace almost every night and enjoyed the hot tub once or twice. We were thankful for the Wi-Fi because we were able to watch our Buckeyes play on game day. We're ready to plan our next stay, next fall.

The view is AMAZINGGGG. Chilling in the hot tub with the mountains right in front of us was the best way to start the day! Totally awesome and totally romantic! Perfect for 2, in my opinion!

The place was exactly what we were needing. Peaceful and secluded. The amount of calm and comfort this cabin gave us both was so much needed. Small and perfect for a couple.

Host Jonathan was fantastic and helpful. Quiet, cozy cabin that was very clean. The views from the back deck are amazing. Had a wonderful time with my family and dog. Will definitely come back.

Had an incredible weekend at spotted rock as first time visitors! Cabin was clean, had amazing views, and a perfect hot tub. Great place for a couples weekend or family getaway. We will be coming back!

The place was very comfortable, bed was amazing views were spectacular!! One thing that would be helpful is a working lighter for fireplace . Would definitely stay there again close to nearby Brevard.

Great quaint cabin in the mountains with excellent views, privacy and the rustic feel with modern amenities like Central Heat, electricity and central plumbing. Hot tub is hot and provides a relaxing evening watching the sunset behind the mountains. Ample firewood is supplied for the awesome wood stove. Great place to bring your pets!

The cabin was very rustic but comfortable! The sunsets from the deck and hot tub were fabulous. Directions were spot on. This is definitely a place I would come back to.

Worst cabin I've stayed at. The A/C couldn't cool the place down and froze overnight twice, the water went out two days into our stay. Instead of apologizing, the host wasn't helpful, remotely changed the thermostat, told us to open the windows, and said we could cancel and find some where else if it doesn't work for us. Requested A/C repairs but wouldn't be there until after our stay. Check-in required reading a 75-page PDF full of rules, plus you're expected to take your own trash home despite a 150 cleaning fee or you'll be charged 10 a bag. The listing never mentioned that 4WD is highly recommended. I struggled getting up the steep gravel driveway in my FWD CR-V. Overall, terrible experience with an unhelpful host. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Great cabin with lovely view

Cabin was very comfortable and cozy. Covered porch with chairs to enjoy the view. Great location - close to several State Parks and numerous waterfalls. Would definitely stay here again.

Short summer trip

We had a great stay with a MAGNIFICENT view. The cabin is as exactly as it was described. We truly enjoyed our trip and would stay again if we are in this area!

Beautiful cottage, isolated, calm with a beautiful view

The area is beautiful and the cottage great - having a real fire every evening, sitting in the cozy cottage, reading and relaxing plus the waterfalls close by made this a great stay, thank you Jonathan.

Great cabin with wonderful views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Spotted Rock Cabin! The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. The owner was awesome and extremely helpful with anything we asked. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away from it all and relax.
