Painters Paradise is a gorgeous duo including an oceanfront cottage and guest house all nestled along the rugged Maine coastline on Stoningtonâs thoroughfare. Painters Paradise is a gorgeous duo including an oceanfront cottage and guest house all nestled along the rugged Maine coastline on Stoningtonâs thoroughfare. Enjoy being on the outskirts of Stoningtonâs village while also having a private, spacious property in which to retreat to when your days adventures and activities are done.
The main house at Painters Paradise has a contemporary design and a multiple walls of windows so you can always enjoy the view. The cottage enjoys an open concept with dining room, living room and fireplace nook all in one great room with cork flooring and soaring cathedral ceilings. The beautiful stonework of the fireplace is a grand decoration for guests to use and enjoy.
The main cottage has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom is a cozy space with bunk beds and a dresser and small closet. The second bedroom is a small room with a twin bed and dresser. Next comes a full bathroom with laundry closet. The third bedroom is the queen size bedroom. There is a desk, a couple of night stands, a dresser and a closet. From the master bedroom there is a door that connects to the wrap around deck.
Painters Paradise has a guest cottage that is newly constructed. The cottage has a dining area, a full kitchenette, a queen bed and a full bathroom. The cottage sits just feet from the sea and has a small deck with outdoor seating for its guests to enjoy.
There is something about the setting at Painters Paradise that makes it so special. It could be the wrap around deck on the main house that curves and follows the unique architecture of the home, or the hammock hanging beneath the boughs of a couple of lovely shade trees. Or maybe itâs the lawn that meets a row of rugosa roses before it rolls in to the sea. There are many other things, like a pair of adirondacks that look over the sites of the bay and a lovely sandy beach area where you can bask in the sun, comb the shoreline for sea glass or other treasure or, for the brave, take a dip in the brisk waters off the Maine coastline.
Painters Paradise is located the sought after Indian Point area of the village, which means you can enjoy the conveniences of being in town but the loveliness of a spacious, secluded setting. This home is about a half mile from the center of Stonington`s village.
Painters Paradise has recently been upgraded with high speed fiber optic internet.
* Please note that if you elect to book this property you will be expected to sign a vacation rental agreement with The Island Agency. For specific terms of the agreement inquire before using the Book Now feature as the expectation of having a returned agreement within 7 days of reservation.The guest will have access to the main cottage as well as the guest cottage. The ocean frontage, yard and beach areas.We have an office location at 26 Main Street in Stonington village. We are available in person, by phone or email while you are here on Deer Isle and Stonington.Private location. Near Stonington`s village but privately situated on multiple acre lot.There is no public transportation on Deer Isle and Stonington. CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibility of claims.
