We absolutely loved it!It’s the perfect spot—so close to everything we needed. The tropical garden views from the windows and patios are just so peaceful and quiet. We’ve stayed here four times now, and looking forward to coming back next year. The location is great, and right near everything, from the beaches to the shops and restaurants. Corinne and Carey are the perfect hosts. As always, we had a wonderful time, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

We loved our stay at this condo. The location for us was fabulous with daily walks to Dana Strands beach, and it's close to the harbor as well as downtown Dana Point. The condo windows look out on landscaped greenery rather than other condos, so this was a bonus. We had a little hiccup with the latch on the dryer and the hosts took care of it immediately, which as truly appreciated. Parking was covered and easily accessible. We'll stay again!

Loved it!

We love this place! Our 3rd stay in this lovely condo, will be back next year. Great location so quiet, peaceful and very close to everything, beaches, shopping, restaurants. Corrine & Carey great hosts respond quickly and very helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and looking forward to next year!

Great Property Easy Walk To The Beach and Town

This is a great property with the photos reflecting how the property is, no surprises! Nicely updated and a very private location within the complex. This is an easy walk to everything in the town of Dana Point and also to the beach. I would highly recommend this property.

The condo is exactly as advertised. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable and great communication with the owners. Definitely recommend and will book again when we have a rental need in Dana Point.

Great experience

We just love staying at Corrine and Carey’s Garden retreat. Their place is always very clean and in a great location. Corrine and Carey are very friendly and respond quickly to any of our needs. We’ll be back next year!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very comfortable and quiet. Covered parking was a bonus. The sunsets across the street were beautiful, as well as the beach. Dana Point is a charming, low key town. Nice restaurants to visit. The Chart House is within walking distance. That means no need to mess with their limited parking situation. The owner communicated well, and she was a real help when I was trying to sort out how to use the charging stations. With the current price of gasoline, being able to use lower cost electricity was wonderful.

This was our 4th year at the Strands Garden Retreat. As you can tell, we love this place. It’s always very clean and in a sunny location that is close to everything that we enjoy doing. We love to bike, walk the beach that is only 1/2 a block away, and to eat at the fun restaurants that are close by. Carey and Corrine are extremely nice and always respond quickly to any inquiries. We’ll be back, of course.

Great Stay!

Place is great! We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo …. clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Location was perfect! Felt like we were in a jungle with the vegetation and views from windows and both patios. End unit, quiet and peaceful. Short walk to many restaurants and the strand beach. Corinne is great and very responsive. Definitely going to return!

Another great experience

It was our second stay at this lovely condo. It is full of light and the furnishings are very comfortable. Corinne and Carey responded quickly to our questions and took care of all of our needs. We will be back!

Wonderful Get-Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corrine and Cary's condo. They were great hosts and the updated condo was very clean and well equipped. We like to cook and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. There was even a welcome gift from the owners to greet us. We especially enjoyed the location of the condo, the sunny and bright patios and lawn area in a quiet area of the complex.. We hope to return again.

Another Great Stay!

Had a great time!. Our second time staying in this lovely condo. The location is perfect, like being in a tropical paradise, with views from windows and both patios, quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed daily walks along the strand with great views of the ocean and sunsets. Walking distance to restaurants and just a short drive to many other restaurants and attractions. Condo is clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. Corrine and Carey are excellent hosts. We look forward to returning next year!

Great Condo, Awesome location!

The condo is great! Really spacious, very well decorated, super clean and with all the appliances you need! It has 2 patios and plenty of windows so you can enjoy that californian sun! The owners were very nice and even put together a binder with great informations and tips on what to do in the area! The location is great, in front of the beach where you can surf and watch an awesome sunset. Also near to some very nice restaurants and other activities. The complex is very calm, quiet and private. And also has a nice hot tub.

Quiet & Bright

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo has an abundance of natural light and it’s so quiet! The patio has succulents, birds of paradise and a palm tree. Hummingbirds made a daily visit. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful. The washer and dryer are dated but do their job. We are looking forward to returning.

Everything you need is there!

Great experience! The unit was just as it was represented. Very easy to maintain and comfortable. The views are lovely , no looking at a parking lot! The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns. Beds are comfortable, shower is great. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need is there. There’s even a lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This apartment is so perfect and super comfortable. Some of my favorite things were the master shower and bed that offered such amazing relaxation. The apartment faces the back path and is filled with lush tropical plants that offer privacy and visually pleasing views. You can take your daily walks along strands, enjoying sunsets and ocean views. You can also get a great work out hiking along the beach and the headlands. The owners are warm and accomodating people. They are responsive and absolutely care about your experience. Each time we have stayed they left a beautiful goodie basket for us, they answered our texts and calls in a timely fashion and made us feel right at home. Everything you need is in walking distance. We highly reccommend this property.

Tolle Wohnung, tolle Umgebung

Wir haben 3 Wochen unserer Elternzeit zu viert in der Wohnung in Dana Point verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und lässt funktional keine Wünsche offen. An Ausstattung war alles vorhanden. Küche top ausgestattet und auch sonst mangelt es an nichts - sogar Strand Equipment inkl. Spielzeug für die Kinder etc. war alles dort. Die Umgebung ist ein Traum. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Promenade zum "Strands Beach", den man über Treppen oder sogar per Lift (kleine elektrische Bahn - sehr praktisch wenn man mit Kinderwagen o.ä. unterwegs ist) erreichen kann. Der Strands Beach meiner Meinung nach eine der schönsten Buchten in der Umgebung und wird vor allem von locals besucht. Wir haben aber auch Ausflüge zu anderen schönen Ecken in der Umgebung mit dem Auto gemacht - Laguna main Beach, Heisler Park, Victoria Beach, Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, San Clemente, alles sehr schön. An Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants mangelt es ebenfalls nicht - Trader Joe's ist mit dem Auto etwa 8 min entfernt. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und können sowohl die Wohnung als auch die Umgebung wärmstens empfehlen.

Excellent Rental

This rental is in an excellent location and the location of the unit in the development is excellent in terms of quietness and privacy. The owners are very communicative and kind. I would highly recommend this unit for a stay.

Dana Point Stay

Great stay! Beautiful location at the Strands and close to Salt Creek Beach. Nicely furnished and clean condo with all the amenities for a wonderful getaway.
