Great location

This was our second time at this property. The location is perfect for our family. The decor is fun. The beds are very uncomfortable, but the location keeps us coming back.

Great place

The house was great. Plenty of space inside & out. Quick walk to beach, & a couple of our favorite restaurants. Great for pets. We have a small dog, so the fenced yard was perfect. Look forward to staying again & recommending to friends & family.

Great house!

The house is only 2 blocks from the beach access. It is centrally located so we could enjoy Atlantic Beach pavilion or go across the connector to Morehead City. The backyard and outdoor patios were wonderful for or dog and for our family!

Nice stay, beautiful area.

My two adult sons and I went to Atlantic Beach to do some guided fishing. Had a great stay. Good food all around us. Friendly people. Great beaches. It was a bit windy after an offshore hurricane had passed by but otherwise great weather with bluebird skies. I'd like to get back there again.

Great location

I loved the location. For the amount of space for guests the only drawback was not enough space in the living room for comfortable lounging chairs. Otherwise it was wonderful and we would stay again.

The layout of the house worked well for us. The 10:00 checkout time is brutal.

Best location

Atlantic Beach is one of our favorites. On Island Time is just a short walk to the beach, so it's a perfect location for us. The bed in the master bedroom is awful. There are two huge worn spots on each side and a large hump in the middle. It makes it very difficult to get a good night's rest. My husband and I ended up sleeping in the twin beds in a different bedroom.
Svar från VrboOwner 13 aug. 2025
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us, Kelly. Atlantic Beach truly is a special place, and we're glad you enjoyed the convenient location of On Island Time. We're very sorry to hear about the discomfort you experienced with the master bedroom bed. We understand how important a good night's rest is, and I sincerely apologize that the mattress did not meet your expectations. While our team was on-site during your stay, we didn’t receive any reports of this issue, but please know that we would have been more than happy to assist you in finding a solution if you had reached out. Your comfort is very important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can work with our local team to address it. Thank you again for choosing Vacasa, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more comfortable stay in the future. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything we can do to assist you.

We love On Island Time!

We have been renting this home since 2014, and it has always been perfect for our family vacation every year. It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and to some great restaurants, shops and bars. The bedroom downstairs is perfect for my parents who enjoy having their own separate space. Our two dogs really enjoy having the fenced in yard to run around and play. The kitchen is also well stocked for the nights we want to cook dinner and eat in. We have created such wonderful memories every year and we look forward to creating many more. Thank you for providing such an accommodating home away from home for our family each year!

Home away from home❤️

We have been vacationing here for 9 years. These two weeks are the highlight of our year. Perfect location. So close to beach (short walk). Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. The beach house is beautifully decorated. So comfortable and inviting. Our dog loves it too. I read 9 books on the awesome deck/porch while my dog played in the fenced in backyard. Everything you need is available for living day to day. Our grandkids enjoyed our vacation every year in their “kid” decorated room. I can’t say enough—we love everything about this beach home❤️

Wonderful location & setup

This house was perfect for my family's Christmas celebrations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the downstairs suite made for a great getaway from the rest of the group. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus, our pup loved playing on the beach and being able to utilize the fenced in back yard. The only improvement I would recommend is having a clearer check-in process. We didn't realize we had to go to the Vacasa office to pick up the keys since there was a lockbox code in the instructions (turns out, the lockbox code didn't work!). Outside of that trouble, this home was a knock out and just what we were looking for!
