The house is just as advertised, it’s right on the ocean which helped with everyone’s separate schedule to get to the beach. Plenty of roomFor everyone and every room having its own bathroom was amazing! The open concept kitchen and big dinner table was great for everyone to eat/cook together. House is very clean and water pressure in the master bedroom was to die for!

My favorite thing about this house was the abundance of colorful deck furniture. Our family enjoyed our stay. A bathroom for every bedroom is great. The only thing that would improve it would be a table and at least partial covering of the top deck.

Awesome deck and amenities.

Ample space and seating. Amenities were great. Spent every night on the deck watching the ocean, pelicans, helicopters, moon and stars.

Our Favorite

Second time at this house, we love it. Being on the north end with easy on/off of the island close to on-shore shopping a huge plus. Ocean views are great, lots of deck chairs so important for a large group too. We’ll be back!

A Great Beach Vacation House

This is our new favorite on Topsail Island. Right on the water; next year we won't even take our chairs and umbrellas. You're close to the waves while sitting on the deck. House was spotlessly clean when we got there. Never a fly, beetle, or ant to be seen. Plenty of linens and towels provided, all the appliances worked as they should, lots of pans, china, and utensils in the kitchen. Quiet, uncrowded beach, nice deck furniture. We'll be back.

Disappointed

Arrived and keypad wouldn’t work. Took 30 minutes and several phone calls to get in. We saw roaches every day. Never had a return phone call in regard to this. Bedroom sliding door lock was broke. Stairs on the inside were too steep and dangerous for elderly. Bottom level had a terrible musty smell. Access to beach was dangerous because sand buried several steps. No hot water in outside shower. Many of the inside bathroom showers were awkward to use because the shower head was not the right size for the shower and shower head was not moveable. No potholders in kitchen. The view was lovely and upper deck was used a lot but we slept in fear of roaches. Not a good vacation. Feel we should be refunded.

4/10 Dåligt

Home is infested with cockroaches.

This was our second time staying in the unit but unfortunately this time the unit is having issues with cockroaches. We started off seeing them mostly in the kitchen (walls, floor, counter, microwave one night), but then we started seeing them in the bedrooms/bathrooms (one was crawling on my sons pillow). We called VACASA the day after we checked in and they brought us a can of Raid Roach Killer and said they would send the exterminator that same day or the next day but no one ever came. We called again later in the week and were told this time that the exterminator had just come on Saturday before we checked in but they could send someone out. We told two of the people that we spoke with from Vacasa that it would be good customer service to make the next tenants aware of the issue but thinking that probably didn't happen! Had it not been for the roaches we would probably rate the home 4-5 stars. It has normal wear and tear but overall a very nice home with a beautiful view.
