My husband & I have been vacationing in Lake Tahoe over the years. This cabin is one of the most comfortable that we have ever stayed in! It’s so clean & cozy & the view from 2 levels is SO beautiful! The kitchen was very well appointed. We just had a wonderful time!

Quiet yet close to many activities was ideal for us

This was an ideal location for all of us...close to the things we wanted to do like hiking, relaxing, having a variety of restaurants, and enjoying nice lake views. Quiet and secluded was just what we were looking for. The season pass to Meeks Bay Resort was a nice touch too!

Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful house overlooking Lake Tahoe. Close to hikes and gorgeous landscapes. Plenty of sleeping and relaxing space for our group -- the kitchen gets crowded with more than 2 or 3. Just a great place to relax and unwind.

Beautiful Views and Updated Kitchen

House has tremendous views of Meeks Bay and is well appointed. The lower level is fun for games/play and the upper level has a nice renovated kitchen and beautiful light. Perfect for a family and the location is perfect. Would absolutely stay there again.

Very nice cabin for a family

The cabin was clean and well supplied, and the owner was very communicative and helpful. The layout is nice for separate spaces for relaxing, watching TV, playing pool, and eating. There are great views from two decks. The ability to use the Meeks Bay Resort is a plus.

Lovely spot!

My husband and I spent a lovely week in Linda's home, and found it very comfortable and the view is spectacular! We walked several times down to the Meeks Bay Resort which is a nice short walk, and in winter, completely deserted. Linda and her husband were responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. Would highly recommend!

Amazing View

My husband, my mother and I were there to celebrate her 92nd Birthday and it end ended up being a perfect place for us to stay. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the place impeccably clean and the house itself is quite nice and well appointed. The view from the main room and deck is stellar and the deck is were we spent much of our time. It is conveniently located near the beach, and some of the big attraction state parks and other sights.

Amazing all the way around

What an amazing house! The views were insane. The house is really nicely spaced out. Perfect for a few couples to enjoy and still have some privacy. Had everything we needed to enjoy a much needed get away. Tahoe is gorgeous. The property owners were super communicative and easy going. Cannot wait to book another stay.

Great house in great area!

House was everything we needed! Great and easy check-in and very clear and plentiful instructions for all house workings (tv, kitchen, lights etc). House stocked well also. We are family of 6 with kids from 2 to 12 and we're very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Meeks Bay

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and the view of Meeks Bay from the house! The home was perfect and loved the location close to some of our favorite attractions such as Bliss Beach, Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine for bike riding. The beds were very comfortable as were all the accomodations. The kids loved playing pool whenever they wanted. We definately will return next time we are in Tahoe.

Stunning and Serene

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful spot. It had truly one of the most gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe. The rental is extremely well equipped with much attention to detail. The beds are cozy and the setting peaceful. My family enjoyed barbecuing, playing pool and board games and watching a movie together. Yoga on the deck watching the lake in the early morning was the best. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful views in a peaceful part of Tahoe

We loved the views of the lake from the property from both levels. The host was very communicative and left great instructions for how to get the most enjoyment out of our time there. The part of Tahoe it is in is very peaceful and we really enjoyed not being on the busy side of the lake. Everything we needed was well stocked and did I mention the views! The kids also enjoyed the pool table which added mom and dads peace. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

Amazing views!

We had a wonderful quick getaway with friends. There are windows all across the front of the house plus the rap around deck with stunning panoramic views of the lake and Meeks bay. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the best we’ve ever experienced in a Vrbo. The kitchen has everything needed and the pots and pans are nice, not like some old unused leftovers. Quiet neighborhood and minutes from the beach. Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to be back and share the experience with other friends.

Awesome view and cozy cabin

This house was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet weekend away. I think it looks better than the pictures. The view is absolutely incredible. Unique round house with lots of exposed wood and beams. Two wood burning stoves make for a very cozy time. The kitchen is a little dated and small, but is very well equipped. Very nice pans and stove with lots of spices and cooking supplies available. Linda was very easy to get a hold of with any questions. Definitely would stay again!

Retirement Goals

We loved everything about this place. The views are incredible! It's so peaceful and not terribly far from anything. We liked being in a more secluded spot but there were some restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. If Swiss Lakewood is open for the season, go, their food is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in as well. We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the evening. We really had a hard time leaving, we could have stayed another week easily. Made for a perfect wedding/honeymoon getaway. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, we hope to be back!

Great location and views

We really enjoyed our family stay...3 couples each with a comfortable bedroom. Great view of lake from deck and also dining area inside. We walked to Meek's bay beach, one of the best on the lake. Also just a few minutes to Sugar Pine beach, where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks. We brought bikes and used the bike trail that starts just before the road to the house. Really interesting and beautiful circular design, but the design does limit the size of the kitchen...only room for one or two cooks at a time. Appreciated how quiet the area is...houses closer to hwy 89 have much more traffic noise.

I grew up in Los Gatos then went to UCSD, then UCSB and followed this by going to graduate school at Cal Poly and then stayed in SLO. I met my husband at masters swimming at the local swim center and the rest is history. My dad built a cabin and our family was fortunate enough to vacation there when it wasn't being rented. I grew up going to Tahoe in the summer at Meeks Bay and winter and have loved vacationing there ever since. I now like to share that same love for Tahoe with my husband and two kids. I think Lake Tahoe has a very unique calming and serene appeal that will continue to entice our family and many more for generations to come and enjoy it's natural beauty!

We were drawn to the place because it backs up to the forest and has a unique wood and rustic style on the inside with great views. It is on an upper road so it is further away from noise caused from the traffic areas close to 89 in the busy seasons; it's generally very quiet! You can even hike around the neighborhood and back on some trails forest land. You may want to look at one story cabins if you have very young children (due to two sets of stairs to enter the house and use of the wood stoves for heat.) The benefit of the stairs is the beautiful views from the inside living room and kitchen of the lake!

Beautiful Meeks Bay Resort and nice sand beach is just a short walk (10-15 mins) or drive and the stunningly famous Emerald Bay is just 15 minutes away. Homewood Mountain Resort is just 4 miles away. It's feels like you are really getting away from it all but you can still dine at some great spots to eat and go into Tahoe City just a short drive away. When you visit our cabin, you will feel refreshed and totally relaxed in the high mountain scenery with the rustic decor and fresh pine air. In the summer you are very close to Ed Z'Burg State Park (Sugar Pine State Park), and also can easily drive to Bliss State Park Beach or Emerald Bay.
