Halcyon House, din privata tillflyktsort i vinmarken i Kalifornien vid foten.

Rymlig stuga i viktoriansk stil med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Söt veranda och stor bakre uteplats för utomhusliv. Privat, lugnt läge, men ändå långt ifrån restauranger, shopping och vinprovning i den historiska Amador City. Över 40 vingårdar ligger en kort bilresa bort.

Halcyon House har funnits på en annan resesida i över ett år och varje gäst har gett oss fem stjärnor!

Huset har en huvudvåning master med king size-säng och badrum. Andra våningen innehåller ett kung sovrum och en drottning, med andra bad. Båda sovrummen på övervåningen har sovsalar med dagbäddar, perfekta för barn eller en läsningskran. Köket är fullt möblerat med tallrikar, glas, bestick, kastruller, små apparater och kaffe, te, grädde och sötningsmedel.

Verandan intill det lilla dammet är en plats för avkoppling utomhus. Stor privat rygg uteplats erbjuder lounge, matbord och grill. Propanbehållare och grillrengöring ingår. Låt mig veta om du har slut på någon av dem.

Perfect house and location

We came to CA for my nephews wedding in Sutter Creek! This wonderful spacious yet cozy house was really great! Five adults had plenty of room. It is very clean and only about 3 minutes from Sutter Creek! We will stay here again if we come back to that area. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!!

Adorable house

Our stay at the Halcyon house in Amador city was perfect. We were celebrating my 2 granddaughters who just turned 21. The location was perfect..close to wineries, hiking, shopping and rode the rail cars. We would definitely come back and stay in the Halcyon House again!

Girls weekend

This is my second stay here. This was a girls weekend! There were five of us and the space was perfect. I will definitely be back over and over. This house has everything you need and even things you wouldn’t have thought you needed. The location is perfect for a girls weekend lots of games and laughs. Cocktails on the patio, a cute town steps away for food and shopping. Can’t say enough good things about this sweet little place. All of my questions are always answered quickly as well, which I really appreciate.

Wine Country Weekend with Friends

We LOVE staying at Halcyon House! We had the best time. Amador City and surrounding area was bustling with activity and the wine and food in the area was fantastic. We can't wait to come back!

Sweet and charming

This is a beautiful house and property. The kitchen is appointed with everything you might possibly need. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. The house is sparkling clean and decorated well. We loved everything about it and would love to visit again.

Relaxing weekend in Amador County

We stayed at Halcyon House in Amador City. The house was very comfortable for 3 couples. Everything in the house is updated and tasteful. It has a nice outdoor area but was too chilly for us to be outside. It's a very short walk to downtown. Marilee is the most responsive host I've ever worked with on a vacation rental. I hope to return to this house again - it's a special find.

Amador wine tasting

Property was very nice and had everything we needed for relaxing and cooking during our stay. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Many small added touches that made the stay as easy as being at home. Sorry the weather didn’t allow us to use the beautiful patio.

A 10 Star find!

This is wine country at its best. This home is not only very clean, it is classy and comfortable in every detail. We went to celebrate an anniversary and Marilee added some thoughtful, delightful extras to make our stay special. She was extremely helpful when we (uneducated in new technology) asked for some direction in using the thermostat. This place was the top of the line. We recommend it 100% and hope we can stay there again.

A true gem in the Gold Country

This was our second stay at the Halcyon House and when our stay is complete, we always feel a little sad. Both the property and host Marilee are warm and welcoming, and Halcyon feels like home. It is beautiful inside and out and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is quiet and a stones throw to downtown Amador City and a short drive to Sutter Creek and the wine region of Shenandoah Valley. We will definitely return!

Bad travel-Good Wedding

Cute house, had everything we needed. The host was very helpful. It was a bit cold for people that live in Arizona as the heater only went to 72, however the furniture was cozy as they had throws that came in handy. Marilee thank you for your help!

It was perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Clean. Comfortable. Spacious. Close to everywhere we needed to go. Loved sitting on the back patio area. The deer in the morning was a nice touch.

Just perfect

I was so happy when I walked in the door - clean, charming, spacious, comfortable, and a very well equipped kitchen! Had a lovely week with my kids where we were able to spend quality time together and also all have our own space. Highly recommend and I will book this place again next time I visit!

Better than we could have ever imagined!

Having never been in the area before, we were thrilled by the location for one - one block walk to great food and cocktails at the Imperial, local brewery, quaint city. Everything we were here to do was a short drive. And once back at Halcyon House, it offered every amenity we needed - great attention to detail, very welcoming setting, indoor and outdoor areas that are comfortable and relaxing. I speak for all 6 of us when I say this is a wonderful gem, a home away-from-home, with a host who is friendly and responsive (not that we needed anything!) We highly recommend!!!
