En av två stugor på spetsen av Kibbe Point, South Hero som omges av vattnet i Lake Champlain med en östlig utsikt. Dess systerstuga Heron Dance kan nås genom en separat notering på HomeAway-webbplatsen (# 242458). Moonpath sitter ovanför vattnet med fri utsikt över Vermonts gröna berg och flera privata öar. Inga bilar går eftersom vi är den sista fastigheten på en privat dödväg. Moonpath är omgiven av 200 hektar frodiga ängar och 320 meter av mycket privat sjö. Exceptionellt tyst och naturen ligger runt dig. Detta är den ultimata flykten för kreativa typer eller någon som bara vill komma ifrån allt. Moonpath har ett privat vattendäck och en annan intilliggande däck ansluten till stugan själv. Moonpath är mycket charmig och är möblerad med antikviteter och bekväma möbler. Hon är fullt utrustad med allt du behöver för din vistelse. 25 minuter norr om Burlington; 90 minuter söder om Montreal.

Relaxing Getaway

More than we could have hoped for. Breath taking views. Quiet area. Wildlife abundant. Overall, this was the best place we have ever stayed at while vacationing for a week.

Magical escape

This hidden gem tucked away from the world put me under its spell at first look. The coziest cottage I've ever stayed at. The love and care of the owner is evidenced by the decor. Spent a majority of time on the upper deck. I'm a nature lover so I was delighted by the bird song and bunny. At dusk, we had our nightly visit in the meadow by beautiful deer. We will return and again enjoy a peaceful retreat from the world.

Paradise

We wanted a COOL place to spend some quiet time since we deal with extreme heat in Texas. Not only was the weather perfect but Moonpath exceeded all our expectations. We had everything there we could ever want. The decks are wonderful ... two of them! We spent a lot of time on the decks and gave up a lot of visits to the area simply because the beauty and serenity at Moonpath and the lake was all we needed (or wanted). Beautifully decorated and so many books to read, and we read plenty while there! We met Jan and she is a joy to talk to ... like a friend I already knew!

Peaceful, gorgeous views, clean & welcoming adorable cottage! We loved every minute!

This was a spur of the moment, 34th anniversary combined with visiting our 2 grown VT sons. The picture here is perfect & we miss it already! We were greeted warmly, lots of informative brochures, our dog, Dusty, loved it so much! Lots of chipmunks & squirrels! The sound of the water lapping the shore, birds chirping, our weather was great for the time of the year. We would come back in a minute! Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us! A magical place!

This quaint cottage was just what we needed for a refuge from the world for a week! We had a great time, and our dog loved the proximity to the water! The cottage was also close to a lovely state park and hiking. We left feeling renewed. Thank you for sharing this lovely place with us!!

Great time at Moonpath Cottage

We had a great week at this delightful, comfortable cottage right on the beautiful shore of Lake Champlain. It is quiet and secluded but close enough to local businesses and major roads that it was a wonderful base for a week of exploring, eating out, shopping and all-around enjoyment. Jan and Sue were ideal hosts. They were helpful and friendly but gave us complete privacy so we could relax and recharge. We would happily stay here again!

Relaxing Retreat

Moonpath is a perfect place for a couple's retreat. Quiet, secluded location with stunning sunrise views across Lake Champlain. The lower deck is a great place for your morning coffee or tea and to just sit and watch the lake traffic. Cottage is cozy and has everything needed for a relaxing week.

Peaceful Bliss!

The moment I stepped onto the deck and then through the front door, I knew my week's vacation would be the most relaxing and rejuvenating one I'd taken in some time. A calm breeze, lapping waves and crickets were my companions. Walking down to the water and watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and my pup made for a perfect start to the day. Thank you Jan and Sue for an unforgettable experience.

Heaven!!

We cannot say enough about this property! It was one of the best trips we have taken. The peace and tranquility is just what we needed and Moonpath did not disappoint!! A little piece of heaven; we spent the whole time on the lower deck and we can't wait to go back! See you next summer (if not earlier!!) The cottage is very clean and the grounds are well kept. Jan and Sue are wonderful hosts! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Slice of paradise

We love this place for its fabulous location, ambience, spectacular views, and awesome water access for swimming, paddling, and fishing. Hosts are fabulous and the cottage has everything you need, including the wonderful lake breeze.

Moonpath Cottage

This is our second stay at Moonpath Cottage. The serenity and beauty of its setting is what attracts us. What struck me the first time we stayed was and is the peacefulness of the cottage and surroundings. Try not to miss sunrise on the lake as well as moonrise that reflects a path of light across the lake. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals featuring abundant local produce. We enjoyed visiting orchards and farm stands in October. The weather was ideal.

Little piece of heaven

We absolutely loved every minute we spent in this adorable little cottage. The location was absolutely gorgeous and the neighborhood was private and peaceful. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We couldnt have had a more relaxing mini vacation. Wonderful retreat!

Couldn't believe how quiet it was! Very peaceful place to relax by the water. Some great places to eat in town as well. Our dog loved playing in the lake and watching the boats go by.

Shades of summer camp

The perfect VRBO for those who are into rustic -- reminded me of my cabins from summer sleepaway camp. Highlights included: incredible wraparound views of Lake Champlain; small but really well-equipped kitchen (yeay for a vegetable steamer!); quiet, secluded location that abuts acreage from a family farm; and most of all, the owners Jan and Suzanne, who go out of their way to accommodate your every need (even secured me a spot in a nearby yoga class.) Moonpath is situated on a sloping hill, so the whole thing tilts a little, but I thought that just added to its charm. Hats off to the owners for creating a truly unique, welcoming, and relaxing place to stay.
