Amazing property and location with amazing views. Very relaxing setting, sunset from beach was beautiful, had the beach almost to ourselves. Indoor/outdoor/hot tub set up works out so well and was very welcome after a long beach and hiking day. Just wish we had more time to enjoy it all!

Great Stay!

We had a great time here! Everything we needed + everything we wanted...incredible views w/everything from mountains to whales, private access to a beautiful beach (w/a little bit of a hike), hot tub! The nenes wanted to visit quite a bit so we used the hose to discourage them a little. The little town is great while being close to other beaches and attractions. We would highly recommend!

Amazing!

Property and home where better than the pictures showed, high end through out. Very comfortable in every way. Beach below was amazing and very private with only 15 people max each time we visited. Close to town, but far enough away. We will be back!

Great time in Kilauea

Phenomenal view. The cottage is small but has everything we needed including beach chairs and towels and laundry machines. The finishings are upgraded and luxurious. Because of the acreage of the property, you feel secluded and barely see two other homes. The location is close to the light house, Secret Beach and restaurants in Kilauea. We had a great stay.

Views for literal miles

Such a rich scenery makes up for any short comings the cottage may have (which were not many!) It was perfect for 2 people, we loved the privacy and the concierge service. They were able to find a chef to cook us a private dinner at the home for my birthday. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER

Rest and relaxation

Overall our stay was wonderful. Beautiful views, cozy cottage with privacy, and access to a great quiet beach. Only comment would be storage. No place to hang clothes nor any place to store groceries. We plan to stay again. Disappointed price has gone up twice since I first found location. My wife and I stay on the north shore often and thought this was best time we have had - and we have stayed at some great places.

Panoramic Paradise !

Pure enchantment! This was what everyone dreams about! Views were simply amazing from every spot on the property! Romantically secluded but only minutes from stores and restaurants. Access to one of the most beautiful beaches! The grounds were spacious and the backyard garden area was brimming with tropical flowers foliage and small pond. The indoor rain waterfall shower was a relaxing delight! Whales,birds,geckos,rainbows,crashing waves, star filled night skies!

It is a sanctuary for sea birds, Nenes and wild chickens that brought the property to life late in the day. The private trail to Secret Beach was a treat! We rarely left the property it was just so relaxing. When we did the nearby town of Kilauea had great food options. Oh yeah! We'll be back!

Perfect Kauai experience

Secluded and upscale with an incredible beach and 2 minute drive from great restaurants. No air conditioning was actually a blessing. Trade winds kept the house comfortable and cool at night. Nothing better than the sound of a Kauai thunderstorm at night. Definitely recommend this rental.

Beautiful property with mediocre management

The property is amazing. Private. Perfect for a couple. But the check in and the help from the property manager was mediocre at best. It was confusing to receive emails and texts from different people or companies. I got the feeling that the manager didn't want to be bothered. If it weren't for the confusing check in and the lack of customer service, I would give this property a 5 star.

Love!

Amazing place to stay, views are incredible - the private/personal beach access really made this place. Outdoor shower was so pretty and enjoyable (hot water also!) AC works well but only in the living room . The bedroom does get extremely hot and humid, even with the fans. Lucky we only experienced 82 degree weather so it wasn’t toooo humid. It did rain our first day so we didn’t get to go to beach but the hot tub was a good 2nd Saw beautiful rainbows in the morning and this is a west facing property so the sunset eveynight was amazing! Would definitley stay Here again.

The property is private, luxurious, beautiful and well-equipped. Honestly, it had everything we needed. Of course, everything could always be improved and my only suggestions would be to have some type of bluetooth speaker on hand, yoga mats, and to plant a few fruit trees on the vast property. But then we probably would have refused to leave. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Romantic Getaway

The property is amazing and perfectly situated above secret beach. Great location and very nicely outfitted. The hot tub and outdoor shower are superb, and it's a truly lovely escape. That said, that the air con unit in the cottage is not sufficient - the main room is fine, but the bedroom gets quite stuffy. Numerous people have commented on this in the reviews, although we thought we would give it a try anyway since it is listed as having air con and we thought it might be sufficient - but definitely not. For the price that you pay, it should be top of the line. Adding another unit in the bedroom is a simple thing that would go a long way for this property (and yes the wallpaper is peeling, but that's a small thing that doesn't really impact the stay).

Gorgeous piece of property, stay here if for that reason alone

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just returned from 11 nights at Hale Nanea. The property is stunning, Na Pali coast in the distance, ocean in front of you, and sunsets that dive into the ocean right before your very eyes. The cottage itself is nice, it has some wear for sure. Things like window coverings that are busted, and don't provide room darkness, torn wallpaper etc...though this shouldn't keep you from renting as the property itself is worth it. Well stocked kitchen, nice jacuzzi, comfy bed.The property manager, Eric, took great care of us. Stay at this unit, before the property is sold for a gazillion dollars.

Great Outdoor Space

The property itself is old, outdated, and rundown with peeling wallpaper, and holes in walls, lizards and creepy crawlies are regular visitors. We reached out to the Hawaii Life host immediately upon check and never recd a response from the "local host". The AC is located in the living area and does not cool the bedroom, was warm but tolerable in October. Location a 5, the property is a 1.
