Två korta kvarter till stranden, Ocean House har 3 sovrum, 2. 5 bad, plus två andra sovrum för att bekvämt rymma upp till nio vänner eller familjemedlemmar. Det är varmt och mysigt med en hög effektivitet ugn plus ny elektrisk spis. Du hittar sängar i sovrummet och andra sovrummet och två enkelsängar i det tredje sovrummet. För din njutning efter dagar på stranden, huset har ett mediarum med nya 50''platt skärm LED-TV med Apple TV, DVD-spelare, och Netflix för filmkvällar.

Huset är fullt återställd i bärgning gran och furu och har ett nytt kök och badrum samt ett nytt värmesystem, naturlatex madrasser, och miljövänliga byggmaterial för exceptionell inomhusluftens kvalitet och komfort. Detta rymliga, ljusa hus är perfekt som en reträtt utrymme för familjesammankomster, eller när som helst havet lockar.

Centralt beläget i ett lugnt område strax utanför södra sidan av Seaside historiska Oceanside Promenade, är huset perfekt för stranden tid, i närheten golf, surfa på "the Cove" och vandring Tillamook Head. För familjen kul, bort ligger bara en halv mil Seaside berömda Broadway Street av souvenirbutiker, radiobilar, kaféer, arkader, och "ridning haj."

Good Not Great

The location (near beach and town center) was best part of the Vrbo. Easy walk to both. Host was easy to communicate with. Very quiet location. However, the house is "rustic" with a splash of retro. In desperate need of a refresh. Although dwelling was clean, all towels had the soured smell and one even had a urine smell. We washed and dried them all 3 consecutive times which helped. One queen bed sunk in the middle. The 2 twin beds were comfortable but the box springs were extremely squeaky and could be heard in the other bedrooms when occupant rolled over. The Jack & Jill bathroom shower sprayed everywhere from the shower engage knob when it was pulled up. Very limited closet space to hang clothes. The value received fell short of the price paid.

Family Get Away

We really enjoyed this house, 2 blocks from the promenade. The beds and couches were comfortable and the 2.5 bathrooms were great for our 8 adults. Two of our adult kids were on a “working” vacations and they were able to use one end of the house for their office space.

Family Vacation

This home worked perfectly for me and my sibling’s family. We had plenty of space to come together or space out if needed. We were also pleasantly surprised with the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach. It gave me a new appreciation for Seaside, Oregon.

Eco Beach Retreat

Our family enjoyed staying at the Eco Beach House in Seaside. The room layout is great with 2 queen-bed bedrooms and a kids room with 2 twin beds. The kitchen is amply stocked and we cooked some dinners in, and ate out some. The WiFi is fast and allowed us to stream movies and work virtually. We took advantage of the provided beach chairs for some quality sunset viewing. We enjoyed riding the supplied bicycles on the prom and in town. The large coffee table in the living room and the round table in the family room work well for puzzles, cards, and board games. Looking forward to a return trip next summer!

Eco House

This house is amazing. Close to the Prom and walking distance to the beach and the turn around The living areas were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything for you to make cooking meals so easy.

Charming Cottage

Our family and dog stayed for 4 nights. This cottage was very spacious and it was so helpful having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked and many towels. After taking the dog to the beach, coming home and having hot and cold water available for a rinsing station outside was very convenient. Just 2 blocks to the beach which was pretty private. It was very unique and charming. Located in the quiet neighborhood. Overall had a great time and would recommend to others.

Cute & Clean Beach Cottage!

This was perfect for us during a family reunion. 3 adults and 2 younger children fit perfectly and enough space for us to host a dinner for 10 more relatives. I would definitely stay here again, but would love to see a barbecue set up on the front patio!

Seaside bliss

Great location close to beach and town. Don't need a/c often at the coast but it was useful this week. Wish there was a gate so the yard would be secure for dogs, but we made due just fine. I would rent here again!

House with Character

We so enjoyed our stay in this neat and interesting, remodeled home. So much character with modern updates like appliances, very comfortable layout and awesome water pressure. Very short walk to the beach near beautiful homes. An overall very cozy and lovely place!

We're a beach-loving Portland-based family with three kids (ages 17, 13, and 9) plus a German shepherd and young French bulldog. We love to hike Tillamook Head and run on the beach. Our kids boogie board and are learning to surf. Our experience restoring two 1907 houses in southeast Portland inspired our work on the Ocean House and, in particular, our commitment to making sure that our guests enjoy a healthy, creative space.

Varför värden valde detta boende

After nearly two decades of visiting the north Oregon coast, we came upon the beach house in summer 2013. It hadn't been significantly worked on since the 1950s and we were inspired to purchase it and restore it with the goal of creating a long-term family retreat. We're excited to be able to share it with friends, family, and our VRBO guests.
