Laiterie ligger i fruktträdgårdarna i ett herrgård från femtonde århundradet och har fin utsikt längs floden Touques skogsområde i det vackra Pays d'Auge-området i Normandie. Denna arkitektdesignade konvertering av ett tidigare mejeri innehåller traditionella funktioner och byggnadsmaterial i ljusa och rymliga rum. "Laiterie" har en stor egen trädgård och en delad terrass utformad för att fånga solen från tidig morgon till sen kväll. Det är en idealisk plats att koppla av och är också perfekt beläget för att njuta av stränderna i Côte Fleurie (Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, etc.) och den attraktiva landsbygden och byarna i Pays d'Auge. Fastigheten ligger bara några kilometer från köpstaden Pont L'Evêque, och det är också inom räckhåll för de historiska städerna Caen och Rouen.

Spädbarn och småbarn: Vi kan tillhandahålla (gratis) 2 barnsängar och 2 barnstolar. Alla sovrum är tillräckligt rymliga för att rymma en barnsäng. Spädbarn och småbarn (om de sover i en barnsäng) räknas inte med högst 10 personer i huset.

Terrific location and lovely property

The owner could not have been more attentive in making sure we found our way to this beautiful, rural location. The whole estate is Normandy at its best...an orchard nearby, white cows ambling in the field, a mass of roses out window as you eat. We all loved our stay!

Dejligt hus

Amazing place

I was traveling with my 99-year old grandmother and my mother who is in a wheelchair. This house was accessible and beautiful all at the same time. My grandmother had just parted with her ancestral property so it was important to find a house that had as we say in French the 'charme de l'ancien' (the charm of the old). This house did not disappoint. Also, Katheryn was very responsive and pointed us towards pharmacies and at-home assistance to help us during our stay. We are very likely to come back again. Thank you.

Authentic Normandy country charm

This house was perfect for our late summer stay (3 couples and 2 infants). It had everything we needed, both inside and out, and the overall quality and cleanliness were very good. The setting is charming, with the orchards and cows surrounding the property. Close proximity to Pont-l'Eveque and Deauville, as well as some pretty nice golf courses!

Un séjour agréable dans un cadre exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une magnifique maison, très bien entretenue, où nous n'avons manqué de rien. Tout était parfait. Les enfants comme les adultes se sont bien amusés avec la balançoire, le toboggan et le trempoline dans le vaste jardin. Les propriétaires sont des personnes accueillantes, bienveillantes, très gentilles et également très disponibles si nous avions la moindre question. Un cadre exceptionnel dans une maison exceptionnelle. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Super séjour à la Laiterie

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend entre amis à la Laiterie ! La communication, les procédures d'arrivée et de départ sont très claires, Karolyn est très réactive en cas de questions. Concernant la maison, quel bonheur ! Le jardin est très grand, la pelouse est magnifique, et nous avons profité du beau temps pour faire un barbecue. Quel bonheur de pouvoir se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux.. La maison est parfaitement décorée et la propreté est au rendez-vous. Le linge de lit, les serviettes, les ustensiles de cuisine étaient super propres à notre arrivée. J'ai rarement loué une maison aussi impeccable pour les vacances, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Le gros + : nous avons pu profiter de notre dernier jour à la Laiterie et partir dans l'après midi, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer et ne pas trop nous presser le jour de notre départ ! Au nom de tous mes amis : un grand merci à vous Karolyn !

Propriété très calme, propre, très bien agencé, conforme à l'annonce, tout y est. Nous avons passé un super week-end, et chacun d'entre nous est prêt à recommander cette propriété. Le pompon c'est le pot de confiture fait maison et la bouteille de cidre présents sur la table à notre arrivée. Un grand merci Karolina !!! A bientôt peut-être

Cozy Country Home

We truly enjoyed our stay at La Laiterie. It is a very cozy home with beautiful views over apple orchards and farm fields. The home is perfectly situated to visit many beautiful Normandy towns and sights. During our 6 night stay we visited Mont St Michel, Honfleur, Juno Beach, Beny Sur Mer Cemetary and, of course, the neighboring town of Pont L'Eveque. The fireplace at the house was a bonus. Especially since the weather was quite rainy during our stay. A couple of suggestions I would make to the property owner are as follows: 1. Re-write the directions to get to the house in point form. The house is located in a rural area and a little hard to find. I programmed the location into my GPS using google maps as my guide. This lead us directly to the property but I failed to realize that further instructions were needed to access the property. The directions provided by the property owner included this information but since it was written in paragraph form, it was late at night when we arrived and I was suffering from travel fatigue I failed to see it. I realize this is not the property owners fault but I do think instructions written in point form would be easier to read and very helpful. 2. Add bug screens to the windows so windows can be left open at night without allowing bugs in. The house is not air conditioned and the bedrooms were rather warm. There were fans provided but it would have been nice to be able to leave the windows open at night. We tried to leave them open the first night but quickly closed them when several large wasp type bugs entered. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property.

Wow!

What can we say that hasn’t already been said? The Laiterie is very well appointed and caters for everyone’s needs. We loved the spacious garden with its two seating areas and the views are spectacular. This is a rare find and it is so well placed for visiting the many attractions of Normandy. There is a large supermarket nearby and the lovely town of Pont-l'Évêque is on its doorstep. We would very much like to make a return visit, as there is so much more to discover. We have found a base that we adore, the owners are lovely, on site whilst we were there but unobtrusive. This is by far the best holiday home that we have rented, we would happily recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area.

the Laiterie

We enjoyed our time at the Laiterie which was well appointed ( it had enough of everything to cater for between 2 and 9 of us) and well positioned for Pont L'Eveque the surrounding towns and the beaches. While it did not spoil our enjoyment one of the bedrooms was a little warm ( perhaps the hot water cylinder could be lagged) and the noise from the nearby roads was a little intrusive in the garden (although not in the house)

Great Rural Getaway

Le Laiterie is a beautiful gite situated in a lovely part of Normandy. It is very comfortable, well equipped and spacious enough for large family groups. The countryside around the property is beautiful and the garden is large and well maintained. The owner is easily contactable and does everything possible to ensure that you enjoy your stay there. An added bonus is the charming town of Pont L'Eveque just on its doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Le Laiterie and would recommend this property without hesitation.

Wonderful house with everything you could need and want.

Beautifully presented and provided for within easy reach of beaches and amenities. Lovely big garden suitable for all ages with good play equipment for children and loungers, BBQ and huge table for all. Good size bedrooms. Helpful friendly hosts nearby but unobtrusive and we had all the privacy we wanted. Beautiful; highly recommended .

Un excellent séjour

Maison très agréable, très confortable et très propre. Même en hiver, le cadre extérieur est enchanteur : une vue sur le pays d'Auge et des terrasses sans doute fort sympathiques au beau temps. L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent et vous rend le séjour chaleureux. La Laiterie est un des éléments d'une magnifique propriété à seulement qq kms de Pont l'Evêque et de la côte normande. A magnificent property in an idyllic setting!

We were very sorry to leave this wonderful property! It is located in several acres of private fenced garden surrounded by extensive views of fields, complete with a herd of Charolais cows who entertained us by walking down to a stream to drink and cool off several times a day! The property is definitely the best we have ever booked, and is beautifully appointed. The downstairs bedroom with ensuite wet room was perfect for my needs, and the rest of the family praised the upstairs facilities. It was wonderful to be able to choose where to sit and eat, inside or out, according to the heat of the day! The canopies and large outside table umbrella assisted us with that. Grandson Michael (3) was delighted with the paddling pool, trampoline and slide and also thoroughly enjoyed running around the large garden. The kitchen is well-appointed and equipped with all the crockery and cooking utensils you could possible need. A nearby Intermarche meant we could re-stock the fridge with food and liquid refreshment on a regular basis! We recommend this holiday property unreservedly.

Très bel endroit reposant.

La maison et le jardin sont très beaux et c'est un endroit idéal pour se détendre en famille (même nombreuse). En plus, le rez de chaussée est parfaitement adapté à une personne à mobilité réduite. Pour ne rien gâcher, les propriétaires sont sympathiques et accueillants !
