Asheville - Mountain Laurel Cabin - Avskilt Mountain Getaway

Inbäddat i de vackra bergen i västra North Carolina, precis under majestätiska Mount Pisgah, hittar du Mountain Laurel Cabin. Även om du bara är några minuter från centrum av Asheville, när du kör upp den asfalterade uppfarten känner du dig som om du är mil från civilisationen. Stugan ligger på 15 tunnland av några av de vackraste bergsländerna runt, och är omgiven av höga träd och lövhåriga buskar.

Stig upp på den täckta verandan och koppla av i en av de bekväma gungstolarna eller den gammaldags verandegången. När du kommer in i kabinen kommer du att bli imponerad av det vackra trägolvet och det stora katedralen i det stora rummet, komplett med en vedeldad spis, mysiga, bekväma möbler, böcker samt TV, DVD och videobandspelare. Det fullt möblerade köket och matplatsen ligger precis vid det stora rummet, där det finns plats för sju till åtta. Det stora sovrummet ligger också på bottenvåningen och har en bekväm queen-size säng med master badet intill sovrummet. En stor garderob finns i detta sovrum och innehåller extra filtar, kuddar och massor av spel och pussel.

På övervåningen hittar du sovloftet, som skulle vara perfekt för en familj, med sin dubbelsäng och två enkelsängar. Ett bad i full storlek med dusch finns också på övervåningen. Så trevligt är det att slumra av att sova på natten medan man tittar på elden som brinner i spisen! Ut genom bakdörren, steg upp på ett däck som känns som om du går in i skogen. Sitt ute på däck och grilla några biffar på gasgrillen medan du lyssnar på fåglarna och tittar på ekorrarna. Din egen privata gömställe!

I källaren hittar du en tvättmaskin och torktumlare och en extra säng om det behövs, även om källaren är oavslutad och ouppvärmd. Stugan är luftkonditionerad för sommaren och har en värmepump och öppen spis för vintern. Du kan till och med lämna dörrarna öppna och njuta av den svala, rena bergsluften! Kom till vår lilla bit av himlen i de underbara västra North Carolina Mountains, vila, koppla av och njut!

Cabin was extremely clean. Fully equiped with everything a family would need. It was even better than the description and pictures. Location was far enough outside of town to be remote, yet a short drive into Ashville for all the fun downtown has to offer. Short drive to Biltmore as well. At the end of the dead end street on the side of the mountain. Plenty big enough for an extended family stay. Hosts are the nicest folks!

Great Cabin

The cabin is tucked away in a mountain but close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway so you get seclusion and access to a city. The cabin description is accurate, the hosts communicate well, and the area is beautiful.

A very nice stay

Very clean and solid place to stay up in The Candler area. We were able to build a nice fire and enjoy a bit of family time while at the cabin. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. It was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all!

Mountain cabin

The cabin is beautifully located so you think you are all alone in the mountains. It is the cleanest and best stocked cabin we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

Perfect cabin

So much more space than expected for the two of us but the cabin was exactly as listed- very clean, secluded and pretty close to everything. The neighborhood/ street it was on was very nice too. Would love to stay again. Thank you!!!

Great Private Place

This was the perfect combination of a bit rustic on the outside with a beautifully decorated, modern and clean inside. The feel was amazing. We felt very alone while also close to everything that we wanted to do -hike, visit Asheville, etc. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants a quiet and relaxing get away.

Mountain getaway

This cabin has everything you need for a peaceful getaway in the stunning mountains of North Carolina. The fireplace was a favorite . Warm and inviting . Mitzi is an amazing hostess.

Cozy cabin in the woods :)

We loved your mountain cabin! It was the perfect place for my family and friends to spend the weekend for a birthday celebration. We made fond memories together and enjoyed a short drive to explore Asheville for the day. Hopefully we will return one day! Thank you for sharing your home :)

50th Anniversary Getaway

We booked the cabin as a romantic getaway for my In-Laws 50th wedding anniversary and they loved it. The view was beautiful and as they both love being in the mountains, it was the perfect cabin retreat for them and a great place to put their feet up after exploring Asheville and scenic mountain drives. They loved it!

Fall 2019 Mountain Laurel Cabin

The cabin was exceptionally clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Mitzi was super responsive throughout the booking process and answered all my questions quickly and fully. Would 100% stay here again if given the option and would not hesitate to recommend this cabin.

Peaceful and secluded mountain retreat

We had a lovely 4-night stay at this cabin, complete with pine floors, wood ceilings, and the best front porch for enjoying the mountain air. The cabin was super clean and well kept. Beds were quite comfortable. An easy drive to get there, but privacy where you can’t see other houses. Great communication with the owners who were very helpful and sweet.

Peaceful Stay

Communication was a breeze. House more then fit our needs. Great location! We got rained out a day or two when we were hiking. It was so relaxing coming back and cooking a yummy dinner there. Very peaceful. Thank You Mitzi!

My husband and I and his brother and wife bought this property in the 90's. From the timber that had to be removed for the road and housesite, they sawed all the lumber to build the cabin. We even had the hardwood floors and cabinets made from the lumber the boys sawed at our sawmill! We love to have guests enjoy the "fruit of our labors" here in our beautiful mountains!

There are so many beautiful cabins in our area for you to enjoy, but we invite you to give us a try! We all grew up in the beautiful mountains of WNC and wanted a place for others to get to experience a little bit of what we are blessed to enjoy every day!

We do all we can to make your visit one you will enjoy and talk about for weeks to come! If it is quiet and if it is rest you crave, you can definitely find it here at Mountain Laurel! But you are still only a short drive away from "city life" and all the ammenities it holds. The cabin is fully stocked with most supplies you will need for your trip, so just load up the car and head to the mountains!
