Aloha, njut av en gammal hawaiisk upplevelse i Kuilima på Turtle Bay Resort, en timme bort från Waikiki men ett sekel bort i tiden.

Din master svit med queen size-säng och privat badrum med utsikt över trädgården är helt åtskild från vardagsrummet där det finns en Darcy soffa är för din komfort. Det andra badrummet ligger i närheten i hallen. Badrumsskåp, diskbänkar och toaletter är nya Novembwe 2017. Det kompletta köket är helt nytt med körsbärsskåp, granitbänkar och apparater i rostfritt stål. Vardagsrum och matplats är öppna för den visade Lanai (uteplats). Lanai öppnar till ett vackert trädgårdsområde med golfbanan 75 meter bortom. Nymålade och renoverade med alla nya sängkläder och refinished badkar och dusch. Vi har gated parkering med 24-timmars säkerhetsvakter i komplexet. Vi ger dig vägbeskrivning från flygplatsen och vår platschef möter dig med nycklar och parkeringsskylt. Hon bor i samma komplex och är där för att hjälpa dig om ett behov uppstår. Vår chef berättar också att vår enhet är den bästa av de många hon hanterar, och billigare också!

Njut av den underbara 880 tunnland Turtle Bay Resort. Ta en tio minuters promenad till stranden, 5 minuter till Leileis restaurang, två golfbanor i världsklass, tennisbanor, poolerna och hotellet. Ta del i eller titta på surfing i världsklass i närheten vid Sunset Beach, Pipeline, Waimea Bay eller till och med på resort Garden Bar. Ridning är på orten, åka eller gå på stigar till avskilda stränder på fastigheten.

I närheten kan du prova färska lokala räkor och lämna autografen på en berömd räkor. Se gamla Hawaii-livsstilar i Polynesian Culture Center bara några minuter bort. Besök Hali'ewa Town och äta på Jamieson's, Haleiwa Joe's, Breakers eller Cholo's. Till och med en McDonald's-hamburgare kan du få, men du måste prova en Avocado-hamburgare på Kua'aina.

Clean and plenty of room to relax. The proximity to all of the beaches and hikes was perfect. Great place to go to visit Hawaii and not be stuck in a city.

The condo needs a strong professional cleaning.Needs new towels and sheets and blankets.Needs new shower in small bathroom.The red rug smells of urine.The windows and air conditioning are really dirty.Over promised and under delivered.Great location.

Nice property

It was a very nice condo with new floors and carpet. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels and beach towels. The sofas are well used for sure. We had a few dead roaches and a couple of live ones the first few days and then none. Wonderful cross breeze with the doors open! Close to grocery stores and shopping. Love the resort property. We can’t say enough about our property manager Bev. She responsive to any questions we had!

Great condo.

Stay was great. Grounds of complex are beautiful. Unfortunately they have the exact carpet that we had in a home previously. It shows badly and does not clean properly. The condo will be 100% better once the carpet is replaced.

Perfect stay in perfect surrounding

Great location at Kawela Bay / Turtle Beach Resort with beautiful beaches in every direction. Beautiful hiking opporunities along Kawela Trail to Kahuko Point and Turtle Bay Pillbox. Caretaker of the property always helpful and reachable. Simply perfect.

This unit was super clean. The location is perfect for traveling to the north shore or day excursions. Short walk to the beach. The food trucks had amazing food and were only about ten minutes away. I will definitely be staying there again. Ahola

Very Comfortable

We spent 2 weeks here. It's an excellent location that met all of our needs. If you need to go to a Costco it is only 50 minutes away. It's an easy walk to the beach, Turtle Bay Resort has miles of trails to hike and they also have a beach for all your water activities. We saw Monk seals, Albatrosses (adults and babies) and many bird species. The unit has everything you will need for your stay. The only thing I will say is a small negative is that the internet is a little buggy but it is sufficient.

Everything more than adequate

We stay at Turtle Bay condos several times a year. Our condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. Cleanliness is a major issue for me with some of these older units, but this condo has been well maintained. Owner and manager were responsive to any and all questions. Thank goodness for the air conditioner and fans because summer months can be quite warm with the sometime non-existent trade winds. Would not hesitate to rent this condo again on return trips.

Get away from it all!

This property was perfect for our needs and the location is great for either relaxing at ‘home’ or heading out to the beach to relax. The property is well situated and does get a good cross breeze so we enjoyed using the fans with the windows open half the time. On the more humid days we used the AC. The owners provide everything needed for a fun outing including wake boards, beach towels and coolers. We loved the decorations and the furniture is top notch. Mattress has a comfortable firmness which gave us a good night’s sleep. IMO you will want a rental car to get around which we had.

Horrible experience with owners

The place was in a great area and great beaches. Items they left for use we found to be broken as things aren’t thoroughly checked. Also was wrongly charged for a cookie pan, we were charged $40 for a cheap one, by the owners who do not live there and take the word of the person who cleans it and admitted to not thoroughly going through everything. All in all it was a great area and little place but not worth staying at with broken beach items and being wrongfully charged. We might as well have stayed at turtle bay resort walking distance away from it.

It was...fine. The property manager was wonderful. The condo was not updated which I knew from the pictures, so I had no problem with that. However, it was also not clean. The toilet wasn't even wiped down. We didn't use one of the showers because it was so dirty. The other shower had hair, etc. Overall, it was fine. Not amazing, but not awful by any means.

Disappointed misled traveler

Turtle Bay is a lovely resort and there are many lovely places to stay. This is not one of them. First, the living room faces a major highway so when the sliding glass door is open or one is sitting on the lanai, it is noisy. Second, there is air conditioning in the living room but it does not cool the bedroom. One solution is to open the sliding glass door in the bedroom. However, it opens onto a noisy parking lot and also the stairs leading to the upper unit. The individuals in the upper unit are noisy and play loud music. One can therefore be hot, quiet and private while in the bedroom or cool, noisy and public. Third, the owners told us they had wifi but it turns out they were piggybacking off a neighbor and when we were there the wifi in the living room was non-existent and minimal in the bedroom. We needed wifi so left and they refused to give us even a partial refund. Find a quiet, cool, better place to stay with owners who clearly represent what their unit offers.

DO NOT BOOK TILL YOU READ THIS REVIEW:First this was not our first time booking a condo in Turtle Bay, we absolutely love Turtle Bay and Hawaii. But this condo and experience was not what we expected, and we will not book this Particular condo EVER again!!!We were celebrating our Anniversary and looking forward to this trip for a while. Once we arrived at the condo gate, we had to page Bev so she could let us through the gate.When we pulled in to park you could see Bev in the condo sitting on top of the bed watching TV. I don’t know about you but the idea that someone is sitting on top of the bed that you’re supposed to sleep in was a little concerning. She says she does this at every condo she takes care of because she doesn’t have cable TV and can watch at the condos for free. She told use she opened all the windows and doors open it was 90 that day and took till the following day to somewhat cool the living room She also informed us that she used to clean and take care of other condos on the other side of Turtle Bay, but they refused to pay her and that’s why she now cleans the east side. The unit only had an AC in the living room end so the bedroom and bathroom never cooled. We had to move the mattress to the living room to sleep (what a great thing to sleep on the floor). Carpet has not been vacuumed in a while had to wash towels and sheets that smelled leftover food in the fridge, no trash bags and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a weekOverall very poor condo

Overall impression was honestly how everyone in the reviews said it was perfect. Few things I would tell others that might stay.1. The bed is horrendous. It was a old bed, needs a new COMFORTABLE matresss. Matressnwas extreamly hard. We found two air matresses in closet and tried sleeping on them. Deflated by morning. We also tried the couches and both were extreamy hard to sleep on.Extra bedding was in the closet, which we had to wash all of the blankets because they smelled like mildew. As well as all the towels as they smelled as well.The home was pretty clean, but would be great with a few updated, or lowered nightly cost. For the price we paid in total to stay , we would of liked better accommodations.Bev, was wonderful. Pleasure to meet her ans chit chat. You could tell she enjoyed helping.Plus side, the place had plenty of room and a array of things for the beach. Complex was nice and quiet. Looking forward to my own bed and a restful sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect if you are looking for something a little more relaxed and layed back. The grounds were beautiful and had a great pool. The bed was a little firm for our liking, but the condo itself was great. It was nice having 2 bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking your meals. Bev was great and very helpful during our stay. Mahalo!

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. The area is quite and beautiful. The condo had everything we needed, and Bev was wonderful to deal with. We came I. Very late and she was very accommodating. We can't wait to come back.

Weekend Stay

A little confusion with check-in but with some help from Bev and security, we got settled into our rental without issue.Upon initial walk-in, the condo smelled and looked dated. The only ac unit is in the living room (back portion of the unit). Throughout our stay, we could not feel the ac from the master bedroom. There's a floor fan and ceiling fan in the master but most nights were muggy and humid. The shower in the master bath was very dirty. Found a dead roach on the floor and walls were caked with heavy soap scum. We had to do some cleaning before using. The kitchen was well stocked and clean, but, the living room furniture was stained and smelled funny. This unit is in dire need of a deep clean and furniture overhaul.Aside from the cons, what we loved and enjoyed most about this unit were the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit, 24 hour security, free parking, location on the island, and access to the resort. We would definitely return to Turtle Bay, however, would opt on staying in another condo.

Great Price, Easy Access to Resort Perks and Nearby Community

Excellent price. The property was close to exiting the resort and made it possible to walk to the trails, beach, and to the resort restaurants. The only minus was that we thought that we would be able to enjoy a breakfast on the lanai but outside of the screened porch there was a large patch of red dirt that discouraged going out back - it also effected the golf course view. I suggest that the association landscape that area - as it seemed none of the units in that building had a great area in back. All in all, we were very satisfied with the unit. The washer and dryer were appreciated. The laundry sheets and Snorkle equipment were nice extras. The fans and ac kept the unit cool. We enjoyed visiting Haleiwa, Waimea Falls, and Ted’s one day and spent another exploring Laie Point and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Point to know - the beach loungers at the main hotel are free to use after 5 pm. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us.

Turtle Bay Getaway

Disappointing place for the price, seemed outdated, the sofas were stained and uncomfortable. However the carpets appeared newer, the place is very dark inside due to bottom level, dark indoor color on walls and dark countertops even with curtains open. Small sugar ants on lower baseboards going up the wall in the living room on same side as AC unit. The AC buttons don't function even after we replaced the batteries, without the AC and fans on it was stuffy and hot. We weren't aware of construction going on next to our unit either. The property person Bev was nice on the phone, but we never met in person, she left the door open with keys in a dish for the doors and gate.She offered for us to use leftover groceries in the fridge on check in, but truly these should have been tossed before the next guest arrived. The kitchen garbage was full smelled of old trash. Bedding seemed old, dusty and only 1 pillow per person, dirty. Refrigerator had old food from prior guest, old ice and opened food in freezer smelled bad. TV buttons without instructions on how to operate and property manager not able to work them, other than the bedroom ones. I thought she would come down and meet us and show us where the pool and garbage were, but we were left to find on our own. We were also unaware of remodeling or construction happening in a nearby unit which was obnoxious. Disappointing stay

Nearing retirement, we wanted to have a warm winter getaway. We love Hawaii but wanted to be away from the hustle bustle of Honolulu. I used to Surf and we were beach people when we were younger. The Northshore was the place!

We love the first floor, there is always a cool breeze, we rarely use the air conditioner because we are insulated by the upper floor. We love to walk to the beach by the hotel or to our special hideaway, Kawela Bay.
